  • When my son first started coming here I believe in 2021 they were a great place but under different management. once new management came in I did think it was suspicious that all the employees left. They were the best. At the time I had CAPS I didn’t pay anything out-of-pocket I started getting emails from the center telling me I had a balance and called CAPS and they’d say I shouldnt. Then I started getting emails threatening me if I didn’t pay the balance I ended up unenrolling my son in ‘23 but the emails did not stop. Fast-forward to today ‘25 they put a $400 collection on my credit report!!!! How is that legal!? I cannot believe it I’ve disputed it many times it has failed but I’m not gonna give up this is absolutely insane and I have half a mind to go up there!!

  • This is a glorified baby sitting service. If you want your child actually learning and in a structured environment, this is not the place. Teachers are very sweet. They rotate very often which isn’t great because kids need consistency. Communication between staff and owner seems to be nonexistent. My kid also came home with bleached clothes multiple times which was crazy. I’ll just say believe the 1 star reviews and don’t waste your money with this place. There are so many other great facilities within 5 minutes of this place.

  • My child has been going to the sport academy since he was 3 and now he’s 7. Never had an issue with the camp. Love that my child is around children who look like him and where he can constantly enjoy himself. Love how they take the kids on field trips & have different activities for them everyday! and their hours are perfect for my schedule.

  • Parents out there. If your child isn't doing well at a daycare, they're always reporting your childs behavior, pay attention to your non-verbal child. Their behavior is telling you what they cannot express. I enrolled my daughter in December 2022 they disenrolled her beginning of March 2023 for scratching a student 2x & kicked a teacher the same week. I was in disbelief about my child kicking a teacher because I would not condone that behavior. Within those 3 months, management changed & I found out MYSELF that she had several different teachers. When I ask for a STRUCTURED daycare, I dont think some people understand what I mean by that. Because, as a parent, if you dont care about the daycare you bring your child in, you're not doing your child a favor. I left a great daycare to put my child in this dump( place needs a renovation) thats why there's only one picture.

  • I really enjoyed this school a long time ago when I was a child growing up! Made lots of friends that I’m not sure where they are now but I hope to see them soon one day. I liked how the school had a summer camp as well and we had swimming lessons and all that. We were always going somewhere and the field trips were great as well. I sure do miss my teachers but I don’t think they working there anymore and I don’t even know if Ms. Barbara(the principal that used to work there) is there still. Wish I could comeback and visit one day

  • I substituted through a agency here twice the first time I entered the school it smelled like old diapers and bleach. The teacher/student ratio is very high there was like 15 students to 1 teacher. The classrooms walls are dirty and needs to be scrubbed down. You can tell the artwork, posters and material on the wall hasn't been changed in forever because its faded. I wanted to sit on the carpet with the children but when I sat down there was literally dirt and crumbs on the rug. The library area in one of the classrooms had torn/unreadable books. The toys we're dirty and last but not least the diaper changing table/mat needed replaced. The teachers are unprofessional they complained and didn't care about the upkeep of their classroom. I finally met the owner of the center the second time I substituted there everything was good til she shorted my check and then when I came back she never apologized. This place needs to be torn down as soon as possible. And for the parents please stay in-tune with the background and cleaniness of these centers.

Questions parents ask about All Star Kids Academy

Is All Star Kids Academy a licensed child care provider in Georgia?

All Star Kids Academy holds Georgia record CCLC-58172, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Dekalb County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.

What is All Star Kids Academy's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?

Georgia rates All Star Kids Academy 2 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. Quality Rated measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.

Does All Star Kids Academy offer Georgia's Pre-K?

Yes. The state record lists All Star Kids Academy as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.

Does this page show inspection results for All Star Kids Academy?

No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects All Star Kids Academy's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
