Apparo Academy

We are incredibly grateful for everything this school has done for our daughter. As a parent of a child with special needs, it can be hard to find a place where your child is not only supported, but truly seen, valued, and celebrated. From day one, the staff welcomed us with open arms and have gone above and beyond to help our daughter grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We have been at the school for a little over two years now and we don’t know where our daughter would be without them. We will forever be grateful.

Our son has Down syndrome and attends school and receives OT, PT, Feeding and Speech therapy at Apparo Academy. We know he is loved when he enters the building. He has a smile on his face going down the hall into his classroom. He is learning how to interact with other children. The therapists integrate therapy into the classroom, so they make it fun for him. They have helped us get a gait trainer and wheelchair. We can't say enough! They send pictures of his day through the parent portal so we can see how he is doing. We feel he is safe, loved, and learning.

I can not describe how amazing this school is and the whole organization. We have been truly blessed to be part of this great team of professionals who take such a good care of children with special needs and who are so passionate in everything they do. Our son has been attending Apparo since June 2020 and he has made tremendous improvement in every possible aspect of his life including speech, fine and gross motor skills, academic improvement as well as social and everything else! I wish we knew sooner about the Apparo so our son could get the complete and proper care that he needed much sooner. The staff is just wonderful and they take care of the kids just like they were their own.

Apparo Academy has been an amazing opportunity for us. My son is 5 yrs old and has to wear Cochlear implants. He was born with loss of hearing and then eventually deaf. The staff and teachers has helped us transition into this new way of life and taught us so much. The therapy he needs is able to be done there while in school, with some of the greatest therapist I have ever met. I am very pleased with the progress my son has made in the 1 year he has been there. The greatest part about Apparo Academy for me is the Christian foundation it has been built on.

Apparo Academy has been a Godsend for our family! Our youngest has special needs and has absolutely thrived there. The entire staff is incredible. It is such a relief to know all of our child's needs - education, play, medical, therapy, etc - are not only covered while there, but are TOP priority. I really cannot say enough good things about the school! And it's not just great for special needs children. If you want your child's unique learning needs to be met (because they EACH are unique) with lots of one-on-one attention, for your child to learn the importance of each child and their unique abilities and differences, and in a Christian environment, Apparo is the answer!
