If you're looking for a daycare, I highly recommend considering Ascension Learning Academy. My son has been at this daycare since he was 6 weeks old and now he's 3 years old. He has had many teachers throughout his time here but Ms. Nikki & Ms. Green has been there for him since day 1. They probably spoil him more than I do. His current teacher is Ms. Ruth and she's phenomenal. My son is half Vietnamese and she include lessons about Vietnamese holidays in her plan. Vietnamese words are posted throughout the classroom. I'm overjoyed that my son not only gets to learn about his culture but also share the experience with his friends. They're very serious about providing a fun and safe environment for the kids. They tinted the window and built a wooden fence to protect the kids' privacy. They have a shaded playground with many riding toys for the ones learning to walk. They have tons of toys in the classroom, some educational and some just for fun. The staff (past & present) is kind, patient, and compassionate. You can tell the kids are well cared for and enjoy their time there. I'm very grateful for them. I would give them 100 stars if I could!
Jade HoangAug 8, 2024I was very nervous about my son starting daycare at just 6 months old, but my fears quickly faded after seeing how well he is cared for here. The staff is incredibly kind and nurturing, treating my little one like he's their own. It's such a relief to know he's in good hands each day. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a safe, loving environment for their child.
Idazha HammondsAug 8, 2024ALA is a great daycare. All of my children have attended this daycare. Now 3 year old who was 2 when he started is a student here. This not just a daycare it's more of a pre pre school for them. The staff is amazing and welcoming.
JustBeing AFamilyAug 8, 2024This is an amazing daycare! My daughter has been going here since 8 months and she is in the best care! I love the staff and owner, I know she’s in the best hands! I drive out of my way to bring my daughter here. 10/10 I would always recommend for any child and family!
Myah CNov 17, 2023Filled out an application while Ms. Nikki showed up. Spoke with her and did a mini tour that I thought went well-ish. She said she would email me the info needed to register my child and I never heard from her. I called to follow up and Mrs Nikki answered the phone, pretended she couldnt hear me after I asked for her and gave my name, then passed the phone to Ms Green who answered the phone with hostility pretending she too could not hear me say my name. She was about to order me to call Ms Nikki at a later time but I hung up on her. I speak English just fine. Saying "Who?" over and over with aggressive hostility does not convince me you can't hear well. My child just turned two and despite playing well with the children and demonstrating his independent, explorative, talkative, respectful personality during the tour, Ms Nikki showed irritation with me because 1)I voiced I was looking for a facility I could trust my child with since this would be his first daycare experience 2)He's my first and I "baby" him with affection and hadn't weaned him off of sippy cups to regular cups. I dont know why that irritated her but it's not what you do it's how you do it. Just tell me we are not a fit if you can't relieve me of my fears. The extraness and hostility was goofy and unnecessary. My child did nothing wrong and was respectful with the other children and they chose to find fault with me, the parent. Anyways, rejection is protection. This daycare had such wonderful reviews, but with the character and judgement displayed by Ms Nikki, I would never trust my child or dog in this facilities care.
Kiki WhiteJan 11, 2023This is an amazing daycare, I drive all the way from Union City just to bring my child here. They are very professional, amazing with all of the kids, and makes sure the parents are happy. They are very clean and they also make sure that they love your kids as they birthed them. My baby loves school and does not cry when it is time to drop her off. I would rate them a 10/10 with everything at ALA.
