  • Would not recommend this school. The PE teacher is so mean to other students and bullies them. The students are very rude. They also assign so much unnecessary homework.

  • My three grandchildren recently graduated from Augusta Prep. It was the best experience for all of them. They were challenged academically, which helped them all grow in the classroom and prepare them for college. They also got opportunities to play baseball, basketball and football, as well as perform in multiple plays and musicals. Augusta Prep is a wonderful place.

  • They assign to much homework and the work is way to difficult for anyone. Also the female PE teacher is crazy and bullies other students all the time. The students are awful and they bully each other.

  • The home work is crazy they don’t care about people with learning disability at all there’s one female teacher in the athletic department there that is crazy and bullied me as a student for several years. They don’t care if you are getting bullied the school won’t do any thing. The work is crazy ridiculous and they push you so hard you can’t even stay on a topic to learn anything.

  • If you meet the students of Augusta Prep you will immediately know there is something special about this school. They are highly intelligent, well-spoken, and personable. And, if that's not enough, the faculty members are just as wonderful. They are experts in their fields, clearly passionate about their work, and have rich relationships with the young people they mentor. What a place! Families lucky enough to secure a seat for their children here will be so glad they chose APDS!

  • So glad we found Augusta Prep prior to relocating to GA. The small class sizes, ability to play sports as a freshman, and college-like campus have served our son well this past school year. We are looking forward to another 3 years of top-notch academics and athletic opportunities.

Questions parents ask about Augusta Preparatory Day School

Is Augusta Preparatory Day School a licensed child care provider in Georgia?

Augusta Preparatory Day School holds Georgia record EX-43298, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Columbia County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.

Why is Augusta Preparatory Day School exempt from licensing in Georgia?

Georgia records Augusta Preparatory Day School under the "Day Camp and School Breaks" exemption. An exempt programme is not licensed by the state and is not held to the same standards as a licensed centre or home, so ask the provider directly what oversight it does operate under.

What is Augusta Preparatory Day School's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?

Georgia publishes no Quality Rated star rating for Augusta Preparatory Day School. Participation is voluntary, so a provider without a rating has not been assessed under the programme rather than been rated poorly, and it is licensed and inspected either way.

Does this page show inspection results for Augusta Preparatory Day School?

No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects Augusta Preparatory Day School's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
