Avant Learning Academy is one of the best daycares in town. My kids have enjoyed their time attending there. I’ve known this staff for many years. Ive attended this daycare as a child when it was Terrys way back in the day lol ! I’ve had three of my children attend this establishment. The WHOLE STAFF is amazing. Anytime I had any questions or concerns, they were always understanding and always communicated with me. My kids still talk about Ms. Kim, Ms. Lori, and Ms. Janet on a daily! A negative comment was left to bring down majority of the staff and uplift two former employees. One who was not a teacher and should not be accredited for none of the children’s learning at all and the other being an assistant(not to discredit her), but give credit where it’s due!!! My mother was a teacher for 20 years and I tried it out for a while so trust me I know! Instead of taking accountability for their children’s actions and trying to work with them, they will rather try to tear down a great business. This is not the first daycare center that has had to let those children go and it isn’t any of my business to say too much but you never know who knows of you or your children! So instead of spewing hate and lies, spread the truth and love!
Joy BryantAug 30, 2025HIGHLY RECOMMEND Avant Learning Academy. From the moment I went for a tour in September 2023 I knew this place was special. Ms. Wanda and all her staff pour their hearts daily into caring and developing the children in their care. My children and I love all the staff! As a working parent, having childcare like Avant Learning Academy gives an incomparable level of peace and comfort. My son learned so much in the pre-K program and is rocking Kindergarten! They always have events and involve the parents in everything! Ms. Kim cooks for the children daily and there’s nothing like that warm feeling of walking in to drop of your children in the morning smelling warm waffles, lol. Thank you so much ALA for being there for our family! ALA will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Maylin CasasDec 7, 2024Great school and great teachers. I really like the colors and the uniforms. Definitely enjoyed the way they are family oriented. Mrs Govan worked with us and was very patient. I definitely recommend this school to anyone.
Latravius HutchinsJan 5, 2024Avant was an amazing center for my daughter. She attended the Pre-K program and summer transition program from Nov 2022 through July 2023. The teachers are very supportive and go above and beyond for the kids. They are always doing activities, crafts and events for the kids and even some have parent participation. The graduation for the Pre-K program was beautifully planned and we opted in for professional pictures a couple times. I really appreciate all the support and love they provided to my daughter.

My daughter's came home everyday so excited to tell us what they've learned & did at school & how much they love the school & teachers. Hands down this is the best private pre-k program as well. Your kids actually learn in the care of ALA❤
Ashley TwinJul 9, 2022I LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Avant Learning Academy and its staff. If you are looking for a daycare center and preschool this place is amazing. You will receive messages of upcoming events and your child's progress. You can review pictures of your child at the event on their Facebook page. Mrs. Wanda and Mrs. Bates are so helpful with any questions you may have. The teachers are the best. You know they love their jobs, also working with your kids and putting a smile on the children faces. My children love the staff. Thank you Avant staff.
