I have been so impressed by the infant teachers at this daycare. They are incredibly patient, calm, and loving with every single baby. Watching them care for multiple infants at once while still giving each child so much attention is amazing. As a mom, I know how challenging it can be to take care of just one baby, so seeing them successfully manage an entire classroom with such kindness and organization is something I truly admire. It takes a special kind of person to do what they do every day. The administration is also wonderful always available, professional, and willing to answer questions or help whenever needed. We are so grateful to have found such an incredible daycare.
Angela BellAug 7, 2026I was considering moving daycare’s after being notified of an opening for two spots in the daycare for Two of my children. My children are currently in an amazing daycare Apple Tree Prep. Due to having a new baby and the distance I was looking to relocate. I toured the daycare yesterday with my three year old, 2year old, and 2 month old. At the end of the tour my three-year-old was really excited and started running around. For the most part, I was satisfied with what I seen. For the convenience, I was willing to transfer. I was told they couldn’t hold spots until they receive the caps certificate. So I transferred my caps and never received the enrollment papers. They called me this morning to inform me that one of the spot was filled, and they cannot accept my three-year-old because he was running around. Mind you he was being a typical three-year-old boy (he was also excited and ovetired) and their pre-K classroom was already off the chain. I was already concerned with how the Preschool setting was compared to where my son currently is attending. I’m very grateful that this bullet was dodged. Because overall my intuition was telling me to keep them where they are. The building at Big Blue Marble Academy is gloomy and the teachers seem unhappy to be there. Of course, babies cry, however whenever a teacher is disassociated, and there are more than three babies crying (one of them silently crying with tears falling out of his eyes) admin should step in! I even mentioned it after the tour. The teacher seemed to be struggling. She was feeding one baby and the rest were laying on play mats. At least three babies were crying, and one of them was silently crying. Apple Tree Prep would never!! They are understanding and compassionate their preschool classroom is organized and calm. The building itself is bright and happy. Considering this is one of the only daycares without cameras they are amazing. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I chose Apple Tree Prep to be my childcare. They are like family they would never turn on a child for acting like a child. They would never rush you to make a decision. They also would never leave a teacher who is disassociating and OBVIOUSLY STRUGGLING hanging. That teacher needed help, and I now understand the previous reviews of this daycare. If I could give zero stars, I would. Do better Big Blue Marble Academy!!
Destiny HeathAug 5, 2026I, as a parent, have been impressed with the positive changes that have taken place at the Big Blue Academy in Monroe over the past six weeks or so. The improvements that have been made, especially in safety measures and structure, have not gone unnoticed and have definitely reassured me as a parent. It is clear that a lot of thought, effort, listening to the parents, and their dedication has gone into creating a safer and more supportive environment for our children. One of the most important things that I have noticed is how happy and positive their teachers are now. I've noticed their moral and positive energy is showing in each of their classrooms. The teachers are more supportive, engaged, and genuinely excited to be teaching our little humans, which makes such a difference. Children seem noticeable calmer and more settled. The environment feels more peaceful, structured, and nurturing, and it's evident that the positive changes being implemented are benefiting everyone. It is refreshing, especially in the world we live in today, to see a school actively making meaningful improvements and prioritizing both safety and the well-being of staff and students. Big Blue in Monroe is clearly moving in a wonderful direction, ad they deserve to be recognized. And on a lighter note... SHOUTOUT to whoever finally tackled the parking lot pothole. My car suspension really appreciates you. It's the little victories! Big Blue in Monroe is clearly moving in a wonderful direction, and it's exciting to see all of these positive changes taking place.
