  • My Godbaby attended this school. Katelyn is 3 years old. She knows her colors, shapes, ABC's,different animals, and she also knows how to spell her name, and much more. The owner and her staff is very professional, and they have love and compassion for our children.

  • My Daughter was going to this daycare recently and when I picked her up she had two knots on her forehead. Ms.Lawtrane or Whatever her name is told me they were mosquito bites ..mind you it’s 34degrees outside..she switched up her story multiple times. She told me that Florida and Georgia have different mosquitoes. I asked adults at the school did she take kids outside in 30 degree weather and they all told me NO. I know how my daughter skin reacts to mosquitoes because she’s allergic to them…so I know she did something to her..her teacher who supposedly wasn’t with her at all that day told me she was with Ms. Lawtrane all day that day. No one has answers to what happened to my daughter. I can’t go in the view the school. The lunch lady keeps the kids in the morning because there are no teachers on site when you drop the kids off. The kids eat early in the morning at 7am and lunch at 11:30, no more food until dinner when kids go home. It’s a lot that needs to be addressed or this place needs to be closed.

  • My granddaughter goes to this daycare. I think as a grandmother they are not teaching the kids anything. It look like they are all in I one room....They ask for $7 for the kids to go swimming and they took the kids swimming in the back yard of the school. Unprofessional?

Questions parents ask about Bright Beginnings Learning Academy

Is Bright Beginnings Learning Academy a licensed child care provider in Georgia?

Bright Beginnings Learning Academy holds Georgia record CCLC-35847, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Dekalb County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.

What is Bright Beginnings Learning Academy's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?

Georgia rates Bright Beginnings Learning Academy 2 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. Quality Rated measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.

Does Bright Beginnings Learning Academy offer Georgia's Pre-K?

Yes. The state record lists Bright Beginnings Learning Academy as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.

Does this page show inspection results for Bright Beginnings Learning Academy?

No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects Bright Beginnings Learning Academy's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
