As an Aunt of a child that attends this daycare, I commend the owner and her entire staff! Listen when I tell you these children eat BETTER than grown ups! Let me toot the owner’s horn! Dr. Whitney Sparrow is an AWESOME, RESPECTABLE, CARING, and LOVING PERSON! She cares for EACH and EVERY child that attends there! Not only that she TRULY cares for her staff just as much! When I over heard her speaking to a staff member whose car had trouble she extended her help in getting that staff member to work without hesitation! That tells you a lot about her character! Dr. Sparrow I give you your flowers NOW! On behalf of me and my entire family, THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU!!!
LaToasha ThorntonJul 22, 2025As someone who holds the title “Dr.,” I expected more professionalism and respectful communication from Dr. Sparrow. Her dismissive comment that my child “doesn’t have to return” may have been intended to end the conversation, but I have every right to take my business elsewhere and I did. She kept repeating that “today could be his last day,” and it sure was. I chose not to have my son return, and he certainly didn’t miss out on anything. I don’t believe in paying for a week of service that wasn’t rendered. I had only recently enrolled less than three weeks ago so the expectation to pay for a full week when no care was provided is both unreasonable and unethical. The attire of some staff members is also concerning. This is a childcare environment, yet certain outfits worn in front of the children are inappropriate and unprofessional. A clearly defined and enforced dress code isn’t just appropriate—it’s essential. Children learn by example, and the environment should reflect the values of care, safety, and respect. On one particular morning, the staff member collecting the babies appeared overwhelmed. The child-to-staff ratio was far off—there were simply too many children under her care at once. That is not only unsafe, it’s unacceptable. Dr. Sparrow’s conduct and the overall operations of the center reflect a lack of professionalism.
Mia AvaJul 19, 2025I just want to highlight my daughters teacher Ms.ReRe she is amazing & so caring my daughter literally goes to her when I drop her off with ease i know she cares for my baby as if her own ! The owner as well communicates any and everything and has been such a blessing since we enrolled ! 5 STARS 🙌🏾 Love bringing my Child here ❤️
Young BogusJul 2, 2025We love Brilliant Star!! If the bad review by Angelica Hy is still up, ignore it. Click on her profile and you’ll see that she wrote the exact same review for 2 different daycares with similar names. She was definitely not talking about this day care! The director is absolutely wonderful, super kind and responsive. It’s obvious that she and all the other teachers really care a lot. It was hard for me as a new mom to leave my kid with strangers all day long but Dr. Sparrow and her staff go above and beyond every day. I have no doubt that my child is well loved and well cared for. Would definitely recommend!!
Lauren MeeksJan 10, 2025Love the transparency & how they send me daily photos and updates On my babies diaper changes & meal times. All the staff in there are so nice and act like family . My daughter is always happy when i pick her up. Would def recommend to other families needing child care.
Brandee WilliamsNov 20, 2024My little one and I have had a phenomenal experience. Dr. Sparrow (owner) goes above and beyond for all the kiddos to ensure that their daycare experience is as close to a home away from home as possible. The staff is absolutely amazing and drop off/pickup is seamless. It really feels like I am leaving my kiddo with family each day and as a fellow educator, that means a lot to me. Everyone is always so friendly and flexible. My experience (and my 6 mo old’s) has been very pleasant. Highly recommend for upscale care at a family friendly price.
