Let me register my grandson and then refused to let him stay until closing they wants me to pick him up an hour and a half before they closed. He was just after school care so they wanted full pay for about and hour of care and kept my registration fee. They just wanted money but they will not get any blessings for that.
Tameka RozierMar 14, 2026Do not trust Brookwood Learning center with your children, especially if the child can’t speak. My 4 year olds self esteem was cruelly crushed every day . Certain employees loved humiliating her in front of her classmates. Her teacher told the school/peers/classroom parents that she gets violent and will not hesitate to hurt you. Shes has never hurt anyone.. Everyday I would pick her up at school I only heard bad things. She never shared one thing positive about her day or any achievements. This place is so unprofessional and tacky. Nobody smiles at the front desk, the manger always looks miserable. She was very difficult to approach. She gives off a “don’t bother me vibe.”
A RFeb 13, 2026My 18 month old has had his first week at Brookwood! I am beyond excited for his growth here at Brookwood. Ms. Skyla has been so great transitioning the BOTH of us since we are both new to daycare. They use an app that has kept me updated on Parker’s day. Ms. Skyla has given me advice and guidance throughout the whole week. Although drop off is a sad time, I pick him up in great spirits!
Michelle MaytonApr 17, 2025I contacted this center by email to see if they had an opening for my 3 year old son. I was sent an email back from Amanda that advised me that yes they did and to come tour and fill out paperwork. I got there for my “tour” and was showed the classroom my son would be in. It was nap time therefore it was dark in the room and I couldn’t really see much however I was in a bind and needed something for my son quickly. The teachers I met seemed nice so I decided to move forward. I was told there was a registration fee and then the first week of care that would need to be paid before my son started. I opted for my son to start the following Monday. However just make the process easier I went ahead and made my full payment of $278 that day I toured. I was told I could wait until the day he started to pay and his spot would be held at least until that Monday by me filling out the paperwork. The next day I find out there has been a change and I no longer needed services for the moment. This was Friday afternoon and the center had closed. Therefore that Monday morning I contact the center and let them know what happened, I was told the director (Amanda) would call me back about possibly getting a refund. I honestly didn’t think it would be a big deal there were no services provided and I notified them the very day my son would start. I receive an email from Amanda stating that they would not be refunding ANY of my money because this kept his spot available. I found this to be completely unacceptable especially being that I was given a choice to make my payment either the day I toured or the day my son started. Either way his spot would be held because I notified them I would be moving foward and turned in my paperwork. I have sent Amanda 3 emails since this initial email and she has yet to respond to a single one. If nothing else that is extremely unprofessional and I believe that communication is key especially when it comes to children. Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise I didn’t send my child here. If nothing else I feel I am owed a conversation to discuss the situation and potentially be refunded a percentage. I absolutely do not feel they are owed 100% of what I paid on this day and I am very upset that Brookwood Learning Center does not feel they should have to communicate with me. I paid you almost $300, I think I am owed communication and at least a little respect. To completely ignore me is very childish and shows a lack of professionalism. To charge me still for services not rendered is not right. I would be willing to at least compromise but I can’t contact them at all. Parents, I would think twice before sending your kids here.
Ashley HolmesDec 24, 2021Brookwood Learning Center is an amazing environment for teachers and children. The children come first and the very educated and trained staff are attentive, caring and excited everyday. My daughter loves going to Brookwood and even asks to go on weekends.
Sheena KohlsMar 19, 2021My son Scottie has been going to Brookwood Learning Center since he was 8 months. He is now 2 years old. He has learned so much going to his Daycare it like he is already on a 4 year old learning level. All the teachers are compassionate and care about each individual child. They also have several activity's for each holiday and event which we really enjoy.

Questions parents ask about Brookwood Learning Center
Is Brookwood Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Georgia?
- Brookwood Learning Center holds Georgia record CCLC-930, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Paulding County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.
What is Brookwood Learning Center's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?
- Georgia rates Brookwood Learning Center 3 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. Quality Rated measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.
Does Brookwood Learning Center offer Georgia's Pre-K?
- Yes. The state record lists Brookwood Learning Center as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.
Does this page show inspection results for Brookwood Learning Center?
- No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects Brookwood Learning Center's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
