  • My son is 15 months and has been at BBLC since he was 10 weeks old. We absolutely adore the center and all the staff. We haven’t ever encountered an issue that we couldn’t discuss and come up with a solution. From day 1, they have been excellent with communicating with me about my son’s day, from what he has eaten, when he was changed and when he took naps. They have always let me know when diapers and wipes or change of clothes were running low in advance so that I had time to get more. They were awesome with helping me through my baby’s bottle protest, teething, starting solids, sitting, crawling, and now walking. My son typically doesn’t fuss upon drop off and often reaches for his teachers when we arrive. BBLC has kids-cam access which is pretty amazing. You can login to peek in during the day when you need your baby-fix. I love to tune in and see his teachers sitting on the floor and playing with the kiddos. Teachers in other classrooms are always so friendly and speak to us every morning and afternoon. You can tell they all love the kids. Ms. Kerri and Ms. Tiawanna are the owners and most always available. I am a healthcare provider working in pediatrics and am pretty particular but they are all wonderful to work with. I would definitely recommend BBLC to others. My husband got another job out of town and we are moving. This is our last week at the center, and I’m heartbroken. I can only hope and pray that we find a new place that is as amazing as BBLC.

  • I love this place! The owners Tiawianna and Kerri are awesome! My daughter has been in daycare since 11 weeks and started out at Springfield FBC daycare which closed with zero notice due to child abuse happening in the toddler room. You can say I was somewhat traumatized and extremely hesitant to place my daughter anywhere else. I am very protective of my daughter and came to Building Blocks with worry on my mind because of my prior experience with daycare. From day 1, Tiawianna and Kerri have went above and beyond to answer and take care of any questions or "concerns" I may have had. As a parent, I always let whatever teacher know my expectations and what I want and find unacceptable when it comes to dealing with my daughter (I am also realistic). Every teacher (too many to name but you are all equally amazing and appreciated) my daughter has had has went above and beyond this expectation. I had one minor incidence where I was unhappy with a situation but everyone involved went above and beyond to rectify the situation and continued to follow up with me to make sure I was happy. Communication is always key. In my experience, the teachers treat the children as their own and keep in contact with the families even after hours/ after the children move up to different classes. So with this being said and my experience at Springfield FBC, I am a little concerned about the negative reviews recently left because if you Google names, a mugshot will pop up as this "parent" was one of the 3 or 4 involved in the abuse at Springfield FBC (Im almost positive there is more to this story then posted here as I dealt with this person at Springfield FBC). As a parent do your research and use communication wherever you place your child but I love these people and everything they stand for! I trust them with my child 110% and recommend them to everyone!

  • My husband is military and was deployed during the 1st year of our babies life, I needed to find a good daycare that I trusted so I could still work, I was terrified and researched and visited several daycares. BBLC was the only daycare that put my anxiety at ease. I like when you walk in the building it is strictly administrative staff, greeting you with a “good morning”. And to enter the daycare part, you have to sign in or show ID. Security was important to me. They also have cameras in the rooms. Then, the girls in the baby rooms took great care of my babygirl and always filled out a eat/sleep/diaper change schedule, which I also loved. I am sad to be moving out of state and having to find a new daycare. THANK YOU BBLC for the best daycare experience. We will miss you all!!

  • Our kids LOVE building blocks. They hug the teachers everyday they go in and then again when we leave. Being open 6a-6:30p allows all different work schedules. The activities they do throughout the week and around the holiday are also wonderful! We have gotten calls from other daycares letting us know we are “off the waitlist” and we have CHOSEN to stay at building blocks :)

  • My daughter loved Building Blocks!!! Building Blocks was my first daycare and even starting at age 4 I was nervous. From the very first day, my daughter loved to go here. I appreciate all of the staff and the owners for making each child feel loved and special!!! My daughter has moved on but still talks about her great experiences at Building Blocks! Thank you all for everything you do to create a great foundation for our children!!!

  • My son loves going to this daycare! The staff is friendly and very professional. They will go above and beyond to ensure that your little one(s) are safe and happy. The children learn through play and have the opportunity to play soccer and participate in a music class. There are many fun activities planned such as "Water Days" in the Summer, Dr. Seuss' Birthday activities, and Pajama day at Christmas time. I could not have asked for a better daycare than this one. I just wish they had a location in the Springfield School District so that my son could go in the afternoons once he starts Pre-K :(
