  • I initially believed this school would provide a positive experience for my child; however, that was not the case. Because my toddler is a picky eater, I asked her teacher, Ms. Anderson, about the school's protocol for children who refuse to eat. She informed me that if a child chooses not to eat, then they simply do not eat. She also mentioned that there was another student who would not eat, and the parents were advised to provide a meal supplement drink. I found this response concerning, especially considering that parents entrust the school with their children for several hours each day. The thought of a child going an entire day without eating is alarming. After reviewing my daughter's daily activity report, I discovered that she had not eaten throughout the day. Despite previously being told by the director that I would be contacted if this occurred so that I could bring food for my daughter, I received no notification. This was particularly frustrating because the school had declined my request to send outside food or pack a lunch for her, even though the parent handbook appears to allow it. When I discussed the issue with the director, I was advised to provide Pediasure as a supplement. However, based on what was being served, I did not find the meals appealing and would not have wanted to eat them myself. My primary concern is that my child's nutritional needs were not being adequately addressed and that communication regarding her well-being fell short of what was promised which caused me to quickly withdraw her.

  • The worst daycare ever. My son hated going to this school. But I couldn’t figure out why. So I decided to do my own research which means popping up at different times to pick my son up. I noticed trays in the hallway while kids are outside playing. I witnessed a tray cart in the classroom while kids was outside playing no teacher in sight. The teachers was outside with kids. I talk to the director to inform her what’s going on instead of her fixing it. she wanted to prove that it’s impossible for the food to be cold. She went to the lunch lady to ask her is she serving cold food because they don’t do that. Let’s be honest once the food leave her she have no control over how long it take the teachers to give the kids food. Now my baby was complaining about his food being cold and the teacher refused to warm it up. “THE TEACHER “ told me two weeks prior that he will not eat COLD FOOD SO SHE WARMS UP HIS FOOD. So now I’m happy I start back bringing my son to school this morning as I’m getting him ready he tells me he didn’t eat yesterday due to his food being cold and his teacher REFUSED TO WARM IT UP. He didn’t eat she watch my baby starve and failed to inform me. They take pictures with food in front of kids. But not them actually eating it. I look at a few pictures recently and realized my son face which means he’s upset about this cold food he will not eat cold food for a fact because he do the same to me. The director stated it’s not the teacher job to warm up his food. Which indeed it’s her responsibility and hers to make sure all kids are being taking care of in your care which means eating is part of that. The director clearly have her staff back and that’s okay you want to have your staff back. But right is right and wrong is wrong. Your running a business not a friendship everybody need to be retrained including the director. This is my 3rd time making a review but clearly it’s being taken down in that’s okay because I’ll keep making them because the world need to know that if they bring their kid here it’s a possibility they will starve. I will post a few pictures of my son looking upset with food in his face that looks cold and I know for a fact he didn’t eat. Oh yea I forgot to say she brought the teacher out which the teacher had no care in the world she was adamant about my son eating fruits and vegetables so I ask my son did he eat in front of her he said no. The teacher and the director had nothing to say. I know my child he’s not eating no cold food so I know he didn’t eat them vegetables. Her excuse was she didn’t warm the food up because they had guests in the building. Soo you allow a kid to go hungry in your care to prove a point to guests is crazy. When I first signed my baby up for school they had a total of 5 openings that’s a red flag but because I needed childcare for my son I took the chance and I’m soo glad my son can talk to tell me what’s going on.

  • The worst school ever staff give out cold food to kid. Instead of warming food up they allow kids to starve. The director have her staff back as she should but business is business. You’re running a daycare not a friendship when your staff is wrong hold them accountable!!

  • Worst school ever. My baby hated going to this school. I didn’t really understand why. But after doing my own research which means I started popping up earlier to pick my son up. I realized that, They have lunches sitting in the hallway while the kids are outside playing which means the food is getting cold. I’ve witnessed the tray cart in the classroom while the teachers are outside with the kids. They feed kids cold lunches. And when my son would complain about his food being cold they will not warm it up instead they allow my son to starve for the day. When I brought it up to the Director she wanted to make excuses saying that’s impossible for the food to be cold. She went to the lunch lady to ask her like be for real. Once the food leave her she has no control over how long the food is sitting before it gets to the kids. I don’t understand how yall take these roles to care for people kids but watch them starve. The director talk to the teacher but she clearly didn’t care she stated the only thing he ate was the fruits and vegetables I know that’s a lie why would he eat cold vegetables but not the cold food. You can clearly look at the plate and tell the food is cold. Just because he have a plate in front of him doesn’t mean he ate the food. Just look at his face don’t play with my son. One thing about my son he gone eat. I asked my son did he eat in front of her he said no. She had nothing to say nor the director. I get it as a director you want to have your people back because they work for you. But right is right and wrong is wrong letting a kid starve for the day is crazy. I didn’t feel no sympathy about my son not eating. Straight excuses if the food is cold it’s a simple fix warm up the food and keep going about your day. Imagine someone letting your kid starve how would you feel? When I first signed my baby up for this school they had 5 openings I should’ve knew at that moment it’s a red flag. Yall need to do better. The director really stated it’s not the teacher job to warm up food. But it is the teacher responsibility and yours to make sure every kid is well taken care under your care. Making sure kids eat is apart of the job. If he don’t eat then you let the parents know. If you considering this school don’t do it. They will not care for your kid unless your family. Clearly all they care about is a paycheck your kid will be safer with you. Oh yea I always felt off about the teacher just couldn’t put my finger on it. She gave off evil vibes the one that throw rocks and hide her hand. The director really need to do a better job at training her staff and stop looking for friends you have a business to run not friendship. You can literally look at this food and tell it’s cold like be for real.

  • I moved to Stone Mountain Georgia from Mississippi and was expecting a baby. I had never had any of my children in daycare before moving here. I had went through 5 daycare centers in the first three years of my daughter’s life until I called Childcare Network 241 and spoke to director and asked if they had any openings. She asked if I would like to do a tour to see if I wanted to move on with the registration. I drive over to Conyers from Stone Mountain to bring my daughter (Kay’Lee) who had just turned 3 and not yet potty trained. When I walked in that building I felt some weight lifted off my shoulders due to love, kindness, knowledge, smiles , dignity, attention, that me and child was shown. I went ahead and started the process and I must say that this was the best decision I could’ve ever made thanks to Mrs. Cythina! From the first day I dropped my child off I have been updated on her day to day activities!!! Not only that but I registered another child because I know that they both are in good hands by Mrs. Cythina being present at that building. I could’ve choose another building due to me not living close by nor work by 241… but I choose that one because of the love & care that they receive. Thanks, Nukisha Parker Clayton

  • My son has attended this daycare since 2019.I just want to say I really appreciate Mrs Jeffries and my son's teacher, Especially this year at summer camp. Mrs Jeffries got the approval for field trips this year and my son was so excited. I never had an issue with staff at this facility. There was one incidents but within the kids and Mrs Jeffries was really apologetic and addressed the issue with the other student. Communication is great and I'm always greeted as soon as I walk in the door. They work with you as well as I have forgotten a few times my son was not going to be on the bus to notify them. I will definitely be sad when he is old enough to not need after school.
