Chunks Learning Center

We enrolled our kids at Chrunks Learning Center, and when we did the tour it seemed amazing! Mrs. T was sweet and very informative and related able. The first week was good. The kids cried when we dropped the off, which is normal as they’ve never been away from us. But yesterday, 03/18/2026, we got a message saying a teacher had been died. Turns out that teacher was my daughter’s. Well we go to pick the kids up and I confirm it was my daughter’s teacher. I talked to the director, Mrs. T. All she said was her actions do not align with the schools policy or views. So I went home I do some digginG and I get the post that Mrs. T referenced in her message. And the post says my daughter’s teacher was screaming and yanked two kids. None of which was told to us. We immediately pulled the kids out of the school. It felt as if they were hiding this information and makes me think this is normal behavior on their part. When my husband went to pick the kids up from school today, 03/19/2026, (I did not get the post until this morning) he heard a teaching yelling at a child in the preschool class saying “this is what you get and this is why you need to do exactly what I say”. And when he went to my sons classroom the teacher was pulling him by the arm. I do not recommend this school at all. I have included photos.

After being a stay at home mom for the first year of my daughter’s life, I was very stressed over the idea of sending my daughter to daycare. However, I knew right away I made a good decision sending her to Chunks. She runs into her teacher’s arms every morning, she babbles about her friends when she’s not there and comes home having learned something new almost every day. They take amazing care of my daughter and that means the absolute world to me.

Our daughter has been with Chunks since the 1 year old room. She was really shy and wouldn’t talk a lot, but as they made her feel comfortable and safe over the years, and as a result she has really blossomed. They do activities daily from practicing with letters and numbers, to stories, outside time, and creative play. The Chunks Learning Center really touches on everything they need. The meals are well balanced. Everyone is always present and caring and on top of things. If my daughter has a scrap or anything they always let us know through the app or in person. My daughter runs to the door everyday and rarely even gives me a hug bye anymore. She would rather go play with her friends. The admin staff is amazing. Mrs. Ty the owner is regularly present and welcoming. It really speaks to staff, culture, and environment that has been created there.

Ms. Danielle has been watching my daughter since she was just 6 weeks old, and now she’s a year and a half! I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for her. Ms. Danielle is so loving, patient, and treats her like family. My daughter has learned so much and absolutely loves going every day — she lights up when she sees Ms. Danielle! I’m so grateful for all the care, support, and love she’s given to my little one. It means the world knowing my child is safe, happy, and cared for by someone who truly loves what they do. I 100% recommend Ms. Danielle to any parent looking for a trustworthy and amazing childcare provider! Chunks Learning Center is amazing 10 out of 10 💪🏾

I love little Chunks learning center. They are very clean and organized. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Ms. Danielle is a wonderful teacher there she will have your babies eating solid in no time 😊. They have a wonderful meal plan for the babies and children that is ran by Mrs.Montgomery. She will have your babies belly filled with love and food 😊. I highly recommend you bring your children’s to this daycare.
