Sad to say we had a very hurtful, disappointing and frustrating experience with Creative World School. We were sold an experience that was not followed through on and were told on our son's second day of school that he could no longer attend, putting two working parents in quite a bind. Albeit receiving no recommendations on this school from friends in the community, we decided to give it a try due to it's proximity to our home. Five months ahead of when our care would start we toured the daycare and were very vulnerable and transparent with the daycare about our 12 month old son and that physically he is still building strength. We went into more details about him specifically which is private and I won't share here. We were assured that they had experience in the area and were excited to work with him and that he would be well taken care of. A few weeks before he started at CWS we came in for orientation and once again updated the director on where he was. Again, assured everything would be great. They also notified us that our weekly rate would be higher than originally quoted because he was not yet walking. HOURS into his first day at CWS we were asked to come in for a meeting and the suggestion of us securing a full time aid was proposed, as in someone we would pay to be at the school with him all day every day, which left us feeling shocked and quite frankly awful. Our 12 month old in no way needs a full time assistant, he is just still working on his crawling skills and building core strength as many kids in the center are too. The following day we were told that our one year old was having a hard time adjusting to the schedule needing an extra nap in the afternoon, (remember, this is day 2 and he's 12 months old!) and that he would not be able to continue there without full time help claiming this was for his safety - they didn't want him to get stepped on as they had put him in a class with kids who could walk and run around. No solutions were offered on their end. No transition time was given. No apology for incorrectly placing him was given. Apart from this offense, I was also disappointed that by day two they had already lost an item of clothing, the daily app updates were unreliable and missing pictures, and the handwashing that they said all kids and parents are required to do at drop off each morning I never saw happen. Overall, very disappointing and so relieved we didn't waste any more time there.
Jaclyn SpirMay 14, 2026Our family had an extremely disappointing experience with Creative World School Vinings regarding our one-year-old son. Before enrolling him, my wife and I were completely transparent multiple times about his disability and developmental stage, including the fact that he was not yet crawling or walking. This was discussed during our initial tour/interview as well as during orientation prior to his start date. During the interview and enrollment process, the director, Veronica, was extremely reassuring and made us feel welcomed and supported. Based on our experience, however, the reality after enrollment was very different. It became clear to us that there were significant issues related to organization, classroom planning, and preparedness to appropriately support children with developmental differences in practice. The school accepted our son into the program with full knowledge of his developmental status and also charged tuition under a separate rate structure specifically applicable to children who are not yet crawling or walking. After only 4 hours in the program on his very first day, we were called into a meeting and informed that our son would require full-time support and/or placement in a younger infant classroom if a spot became available in the future. The very next day, we were informed that he could not continue participating in the one-year-old classroom environment. What was most painful for us as parents was not simply the outcome, but how quickly conclusions were made about our child without giving him any meaningful adjustment period. The school already knew exactly where he was developmentally before accepting his enrollment and tuition, yet within hours determined that the classroom placement was not appropriate for him. We were especially troubled by the contradiction between: • the school knowingly accepting a child who was not crawling/walking • charging tuition under a non-crawler/non-walker structure • and then almost immediately determining that those developmental limitations could not be accommodated within the assigned classroom We are sharing this experience so that other families, particularly families of children with disabilities or developmental delays, can make informed decisions when evaluating childcare options and discussing inclusion and accommodations with Creative World School. Every child deserves patience, dignity, inclusion, and the opportunity to be evaluated fairly. It is deeply disappointing that, even today, families still encounter situations like this from places entrusted with shaping and supporting children during such an important stage of their development. Early childhood environments should be places where all children are welcomed, supported, and given the opportunity to grow at their own pace.
Juan SpirMay 13, 2026As a first-time mom, choosing a daycare was incredibly important to me, and Creative World has been an amazing experience for both me and my son. He started at 18 months and had a rocky transition at first, but the staff were so patient, supportive, and reassuring during that time. Their care truly helped me just as much as it helped him. Now, he absolutely loves going to school and is so happy and comfortable there. I can see how much he’s grown, and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing he’s in such a nurturing environment. I also really appreciate how Creative World creates opportunities for parents to stay involved through events and activities—it really helps build a sense of community. I’m so grateful we chose this daycare and would highly recommend it to other families, especially first-time parents.
Janae MasonFeb 10, 2026We have had a wonderful experience with Creative World Vinings. We moved to Smyrna and I toured/spoke to many daycares in the area but this school is beautiful! The exploratorium is incredible and teachers and staff are awesome. My 2 year old LOVES going to “school” every day and loves his teachers. It’s pricey but it is worth it to have peace of mind. And they provide diapers/pull ups and wipes and that’s a +. The meals and snacks provided are great as well! I am a reasonably picky mom and I have had nothing but a great experience with this daycare - they take great care of my baby and his days are filled with activity and fun. Not just mindless playing but he learns while he is there and I know this because he brings it home with him. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, productive, family-feel daycare for their child!
Summer Cunningham CrewsFeb 4, 2026We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Creative World. Our daughter started there 7 months ago at age 14 months. It was our first daycare experience after having a nanny, so it was a big transition for all of us. Her teachers and the Directors couldn’t have been more supportive. They do an incredible job balancing nurture, education and growth — understanding that teaching little ones new things and independence is important, but also recognizing that they are still babies and need TLC. Her first teacher, Ms. Ashari, truly went above and beyond with her and was a huge part of her learning to walk. She even made me a care basket after the birth of our second baby! Our daughter just transitioned to a new class and all of teachers in that room have been wonderful as well. The curriculum / activities are awesome and our daughter couldn’t be more excited to arrive each morning, clapping and running out of the car into the school. The facilities are clean and have so many great areas for the kiddos to explore. We toured several daycares and CW really stood out in this area and was the only one I felt comfortable leaving my little on at.
Natalie BrillOct 15, 2025My child used to go here and our time ended at the beginning of 2024. The assistant director was very unprofessional and didn’t seem to treat all the children fairly. It was clear there were favorites. My biggest issue was how high the turn over rate was. When I brought this up I was met with excuses. My child was getting a new teacher every week. Her new school they have had the same teachers for years and they send home artwork whereas cw only sent one artwork home her entire time.
