Discovery Zone Kids

Both of our children have been enrolled at DZK, and we have had a positive experience with both. The center is reliable, the staff cares and knows the children, and we know they are safe. From the very beginning with Ms. Audrey to the preschool room with Ms. Angie and summer camp with Ms. Shana, our children have been well cared for on loved.

Ms. Audrey is an absolute dream. We put our little into Discovery Zone as soon as maternity leave ran out. I was so nervous and wanted her to be safe. More than anything, safe. We passed our little one over and Ms. Audrey assured us things would be okay. 4 months later, baby is sitting up, crawling and laughing. Every drop off was great and baby smiled every morning and afternoon. When we got orders to PCS from the area, my heart was so sad at the thought of leaving such a great place. As a first time mom, there were so many concerns but the center communicated well through the BrightWheel app and kept us informed. I wish we could’ve stayed longer or taken them with us as it is so difficult to trust others. 10/10 recommend to anyone, if we ever go back to the area, we’ll reenroll for sure!

I’ve had my kids here before they were able to go to vpk. I chose this location due to it being close to my house. I’m not sure what the complaints are about lunch money, it’s free. And the cook does a good job at seasoning the food as well, the kids love it. I love the vpk teachers, they’re patient with the children and will work with them on whatever you ask if it’s in their means. My son knows how to write his name and he has only been in the class since August. I’m sending my youngest son here next year as well.

My daughter has been attending DSZ since she was 5 weeks old. She is now 2.5 years old. This center has been very accommodating for any of our needs, dietary restrictions, and potty training. It’s a great comfort to see how exciting your child gets to go to “school” everyday to see her teachers and friends. The management have grown over the last couple of years. They are open to suggestions and are very approachable when I need to chat. I would suggest them to anyone who wants a family environment for their childcare needs.

We have been using Discovery Zone Kids for the last 3 years and love it there. We have had kids in every class and my kids always love going every morning. They did have some staffing issues with the pandemic but who didn't? They always do their best to hire loving employees who obviously love these kids as their own. Their summer camp has fun themes every week. We are a foster family and have had some challenging children and they always work with them in a kind loving way. I currently have a child in camp, and the 3 year old room and in the fall I will have another child do the GA pre-k program. Highly reccomend!
