My daughter lost her best friend the service was at this church she got up to speak the pastor was rude and disrespectful and talk to my daughter as if she was a kid while speaking about her best friend since they were 14 years old people got up and exit the church they were very upset I have never seen anything take place like this in my 57 years as a woman of God when someone passes away you use that moment to win souls not lose them God is real remember that when you mistreat his saints a heartbroken mom.
Yolanda BoddieJul 4, 2026The minister and head of this church is EXTREMELY rude! During a funeral service he rudely interrupted and cut off the deceased’s best friend who was simply trying to remember her friend in the best way she could. He cut her off, not allowing her to say what she actually wanted to. He proceeded to reprimand her in front of the congregation then told her to sit down. It made her feel uncomfortable (while grieving her closest friend) and everyone else in the sanctuary as well. I wouldn’t trust him with my faith as he definitely feels he’s above the rest. Save yourself and attend a church with a man truly aligned with Love and God!

The food was cold. It looked like something they got out of the warehouse for the food pantry. I am very disappointed. I feel like I’ve been tricked. It’s a lovely church, but please stop telling people you have this grand event and it’s not

Erica Hines-DensonAug 17, 2025I have visited DFMI a few times and have not been disappointed. As soon as you walk on the campus you can feel the presence of God. The amazing music, praise team & dance ministry are the appetizers before the main course. Prepare to be fed when Bishop Battles or Vonnie hits the pulpit. Always a great word that feeds the soul and fuel the body from week to week. Totally amazing.
