If you're a new parent facing the tough decision of sending your child to daycare, look no further—this is the place for you! From my very first phone call, Ms. Nakia, the owner and director, made me feel completely at ease. She’s one of the kindest, most genuinely caring person I’ve ever met. During our tour, she took her time walking us through everything, answering questions, and helping us feel confident in our choice. Before coming here, we had tried another daycare where our son never seemed comfortable. For nearly two months, he cried constantly, and we watched him become more withdrawn. It was heartbreaking. But since starting at Ms. Nakia’s center, he’s done a complete 180—he’s happy and thriving. I check the webcam (which is a plus) and see him smiling and playing. He doesn’t even cry at drop-off anymore. The entire staff is wonderful—warm, affectionate, and truly treats each child like family. Our baby absolutely adores his teacher, Ms. Yorka, and he’s been happy with everyone else there because Ms. Nakia takes great care in choosing and supporting her team. Her love and commitment to the children shine through in everything they do. Finding this place has been a blessing for our family. We are endlessly grateful for Ms. Nakia and her amazing team!
Mary Hien VoJul 18, 2025This month makes a year my son has been attending this daycare and I must say this is the BEST daycare hands down!!!! When my son started here like any other child he cried a little but the owner Mrs.Nakia kept me updated the entire step of the way. I thought I would be a parent that watched the camera all day but after a week or so I found myself forgetting to check in on him because that’s how comfortable the staff made me. The teachers are great!!!! My son is two turning three and not only does he have a great time playing but he is also learning so much here. I couldn’t believe when he came home counting in Spanish. Lol! This daycare is a home away from home for these children. As a parent that has to work or leave your child for a great amount of time throughout the week you want to know your child is safe and happy. Trust me you will have that here!!!!! Thank you to the entire staff!!!!
Crystal KingMay 8, 2025This is a response to Shatima Fletcher Review. Unfortunately I changed my email address and google is not allowing me to respond directly to my business reviews. On 12/13/22 Shatima Fletcher called me stating she saw something unsettling on the camera, one incident regarding her son and another incident regarding a different student. I didn't get defensive at all, I told Shatima I would look at the video because the statements was very concerning and never happened before, I wanted to look at the videos first to see what happened before I respond or take action. When I looked at the videos on my phone then on my laptop, I was confused because what Shatima said NEVER HAPPENED and it was clear on both devices. When Shatima came to the daycare I asked her to come in my office to re-show her the video and get an understanding on why the false statements was made, even when it was clear it didn't happen, even watching from a cellphone, and Shatima couldn't give me a reasonable reason. Shatima stated in her review that things may be happening and I didn't want her there. This statement is not true. I have my cameras placed so the parents can see the entire room except for the diaper changer with minimum blind spots so when parents login they can see their child, I don't have anything to hide. Shatima stated in her review that her contract was terminated for a reason she didn't know. This statement is not true. I told Shatima I was very concerned why she made the false statements and I was very uncomfortable with her statements when it was clear what she said didn't happen. Shatima was very defensive when I told her that, and that's when I made the business decision to terminate her enrollment but allowing her the opportunity to finish the week, and giving her time to find another daycare, Shatima abruptly got up and walked out. Shatima stated in her review she didn't receive her money back, This is another false statement, Shatima tuition was for December 12-16, 2022, she decided not to come the rest of the week, however I decided to refund her the $80.00 non-refundable enrollment fee, that was sent back to Shatima Fletcher on December 14, 2022 at 4:33 pm without Shatima asking for it. Shatima Stated in her review if a parent speak up they will be kicked out. That is not true! If a parent voice a concern to me we will work it out and mutually resolve the issue where everyone feels comfortable, however I don't tolerate False statements being made. I hope my response to Shatima Fletcher review will give a more clear understanding of what happed. I'm very sorry I cant respond to each review directly, Thank you all very much for your support and understanding.
Nakia CernaJun 24, 2024My daughter entered this care at 9 months old and found the best care. Now she is 2 years old and every day I return to my work knowing that she is in the hands of an excellent team of women who take care of her and give her love. Every day my daughter learns new things. Starting with Mrs. Cerna (The principal) until The teachers, in charge of the kitchen, all show their love and professionalism, you can see how they take care of your children, the courtesy from the first hour of the morning. You can also observe through the cameras what your child does. Mrs. Cerna is very responsible and always attentive to everything that happens. I recommend this place for the care of your children, they really make them feel at home.
Laura Del RosarioJun 15, 2024Mrs. Cerna and her staff are very loving and protect the children very well. My child is doing Pre-K level work, and she is only three years old! They always greet the children with a smile, and make sure they are clean when they leave. If you want have your child in a safe, loving, and protected environment, she and her staff go above and beyond.
Britney PerezMar 19, 2024As s mother a two and a once child care provider. At first site the facility is great, even offered a Webcam for the parents. My child first week was this week and he was kicked out of the facility because I voiced a concern to the owner. I saw something on the webcam that was unsettling to me and I ask to meet with the owner. I started off by saying I just wanted to bring this to your attention because I'm not sure if I saw something wrong or not. I explained to her what I saw and she immediately got on the defense side, and told me if I was uncomfortable i should find myself another daycare. I never heard a provider say to a concerned parent that brought an issue to them that, before even investigating the issue. For someone to jump right to that only tells me it certain things may be happening and because I am a more involved/observant parent that she didn't want me there. After she viewed the video the incident didn't seem to look like what I stated. From the beginning I kept saying that I may had viewed it wrong being that the view on the cellphone is not the same view on her laptop. But I still wanted to bring it to your attention just in case it is something. The thing is only 1 incident involved my chiild the other was about another child but i spoke up on it just in case. This happened the first day and she pulled me in her office the second day and told me that my son contract was terminated because of what reason I don't know. My son only was there for 1 day and the 2nd day she terminated him without my money being given back. When I tell you highly upset is an understatement! Parents if you are an observant or concerned parent it's best not to voice your conceren or you will be kicked out too.
