I strongly encourage parents to carefully reconsider before enrolling their child at this facility. My child has a speech delay, and when I enrolled him, I did so with trust and high hopes. The owner was a family friend, and I genuinely believed my son would be supported in a nurturing and patient environment. I openly expressed my concerns about placing him in school due to his speech delay, and I was reassured that he would be fine and properly cared for. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Shortly after drop-off sometimes within 30 minutes I would receive daily phone calls reporting behavioral issues such as taking toys, screaming, or not listening. Instead of working collaboratively to support his development, it often felt as though I was being called simply to complain rather than problem-solve. I also observed what I believe to be a lack of patience and understanding toward young children, particularly those who may require extra support. There were occasions where my child remained in a soiled diaper or pull-up longer than I felt was appropriate, and I did not see meaningful efforts toward encouraging potty training. Additionally, I was spoken to in a manner that I found disrespectful. I was told that my child needed a special needs school and that there was nothing further they could do for him. As a parent seeking partnership and support, this was deeply discouraging. Since enrolling my son in a new school, he has made tremendous progress and is thriving in ways I was always confident he could. The difference in environment, patience, and encouragement has been clear. Every parent wants their child to feel safe, understood, and supported. Based on my experience, I did not feel that this facility provided that for my son.

Teree MorganOct 3, 2024I absolutely love this place. It is literally a peace of mind. I’ve had my children enrolled in so many daycares before I found this gem. The staff is so welcoming and the teachers are very engaging. I appreciate all that they do for the children. I literally feel like family and not just another number.
Tatiana ToussaintApr 21, 2024The are simply the best 👌 👍 I have no worries leaving my son at this provider. The pre-k teachers are wonderful ❤️
MonaeNov 16, 2023Absolutely love the staff!!! And my son finally loves going to school! I cannot thank the teachers and administrators for the care and love they give every single child. They deserve more than 5 stars!!

Questions parents ask about Early Start Learning Center
Is Early Start Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Georgia?
- Early Start Learning Center holds Georgia record CCLC-949, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Dekalb County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.
What is Early Start Learning Center's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?
- Georgia rates Early Start Learning Center 2 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. Quality Rated measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.
Does Early Start Learning Center offer Georgia's Pre-K?
- Yes. The state record lists Early Start Learning Center as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.
Does this page show inspection results for Early Start Learning Center?
- No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects Early Start Learning Center's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
