  • My child genuinely appreciates and thrives at Five Star Kids Academy. Upon entering the premises, his enthusiasm is palpable, and as a parent, I feel reassured and delighted to leave him in their care. He consistently shares his positive experiences with me, expressing his enjoyment of the teachers and the engaging activities. Moreover, he exhibits eagerness to return the following day. Occasionally, my husband drops him off, and the academy provides excellent lunches and nutritious meals for the children. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Five Star Kids Academy for their exceptional care and dedication.

  • My baby has been attending 5 star for a few months now and we love it. The staff is amazing and really hands on when it comes to the kids of all ages. My son has had adjustment issues but the ladies are extremely patient and supportive of the kids which has made drops off less stressful for me because I never want to leave while he’s navigating through his emotions so early in the mornings. Afternoon pickups he always comes out with a bright smile assuring me he was not only supported in a safe, friendly environment but also a loving one. Thank you 5 star staff for the amazing school year.

  • They send email notifications daily which is great if you are the parent. I’ve called 3 times to have them remove me as the listed email for one of the students and I still receive the emails which can be unsafe for the child. Do I need to look up the parents and contact them to get the point across?

  • My son has only been here a week but I cannot sing their praises enough! He is in the young two class and his teachers are nurturing, understanding and patient. They understand that two is a challenging age and they redirect him in a way that he responds well to and can understand. I am so happy we’ve found a place he is happy and thriving. We love it here!

  • My baby has been in the infant class, young toddlers and older toddlers. He absolutely loves the staff and they love him. You can tell they really care for the kids. I love that they have cameras and I can check in. They do art and activities daily. They send photos multiple times per day. I hate that I must send my baby to a daycare but he’s learning in a kind, nurturing environment and I’m so thrilled to have found this one.

  • I have a an infant son who started daycare at Five Star Academy at the age of 6weeks. As a first time mom, I was hesitant to put my young one under the care of others, but I am so happy and grateful I chose this company. The staff is extremely friendly and supportive. The lead infant teacher is amazing! She’s always on top of documenting daily information, pays careful attention to changes in my son’s sleep, eating, and health by communicating concerns about rashes or teething, and acknowledging development milestones she observes, and ensuring all other teachers are clearly informed of the kids individual schedules and needs if someone covers her class. When my son had physical therapy to treat a tortícolis diagnosis, the daycare ensured consistency in his treatment by also taking initiatives to help support him in by doing daily exercises to help him develop. The daycare also has a photographer come regularly and take seasonal photos which you can buy copies of. They even have lots of family events like icecream socials and trunk-or-treat. I can’t say enough positive things about this company and how wonderful they are. They’ve been a blessing to my family and will take care of your loved ones in every way possible!

Questions parents ask about Five Star Academy

Is Five Star Academy a licensed child care provider in Georgia?

Five Star Academy holds Georgia record CCLC-24259, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Gwinnett County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.

What is Five Star Academy's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?

Georgia rates Five Star Academy 2 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. Quality Rated measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.

Does Five Star Academy offer Georgia's Pre-K?

Yes. The state record lists Five Star Academy as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.

Does this page show inspection results for Five Star Academy?

No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects Five Star Academy's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
