  • The kids club babysitting staff are amazing. My 23month old has never been to a daycare so he cries for at least 5 min when I recently started dropping him off. They are very patient kind and attentive. Also we tried a Pilates class which was great. The teacher smoothly transitioned to each exercise with clear direction. We will definitely take other classes as well. Lastly, my teen plays basketball at the gym several times a week and he loves it. The front desk staff is always friendly as well. A great place for the whole family

  • My daughter has had a wonderful experience in this summer program. The activities are engaging, educational, and well organized. She enjoys participating every day and has learned a lot while having fun. The staff is caring and supportive, creating a positive environment for the children. I highly recommend this program to other families.

  • I cannot say enough good things about this Y. My family loves it -- especially my 2 year old son. The kids center staff is ***so*** warm and loving, and it makes all the difference. One of the biggest reasons we're Y members is because of their stellar youth programs and caregivers. The facilities are great, the classes are top notch, and the people are a cut above.

  • What a wonderful place to be a member at the Forsyth County Family YMCA! The staff is very kind, very welcoming, and very nice. Personal trainers here are very hospitable, and always most efficiently with incredible positivity right from the start to establish your personal fitness goals based on how you feel, and help you track progress instead of just weight. Their pools is very beautiful and very inviting. It is always crystal clear whenever I've been there. ! In addition, and it has also been a great help that the most wonderful lifeguard staff has taken the time out of their busy day to give me advice with how to position my hands and feet in the pool to help me improve my swimming strokes and gain more confidence in the water. Thank you so much for that! In the future, I will definitely continue to frequent the Forsyth County Family YMCA for their most kind staff and excellent facilities. Thank you!

  • I joined this YMCA because my kids wanted to have indoor swimming lessons in the fall season when our community pool always closed (it is family package). It was a great few months experience to join abundance of fitness classes they offer (from aquarobic, heat yoga, stretching, pilates, boxing, spinning class, Zumba, etc.). YMCA has the best instructors, they're really amazing, kind and professional. I absolutely love submerging myself in the jacuzzi and use the sauna while my kids were having their swimming lessons. The swimming instructors are fun, my kids adore their instructors and made new friends as well. During the day when they're in school I would come and try all of the fitness classes they offer. Next season my kids want to do another swimming lessons, I would make sure to use their gym trainer to teach me using all the equipment needed for muscle toning and strengthening. Plenty of parking and most of the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Viva YMC.

Questions parents ask about Forsyth County Family YMCA

Is Forsyth County Family YMCA a licensed child care provider in Georgia?

Forsyth County Family YMCA holds Georgia record EX-43126, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Forsyth County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.

Why is Forsyth County Family YMCA exempt from licensing in Georgia?

Georgia records Forsyth County Family YMCA under the "Day Camp and School Breaks" exemption. An exempt programme is not licensed by the state and is not held to the same standards as a licensed centre or home, so ask the provider directly what oversight it does operate under.

What is Forsyth County Family YMCA's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?

Georgia publishes no Quality Rated star rating for Forsyth County Family YMCA. Participation is voluntary, so a provider without a rating has not been assessed under the programme rather than been rated poorly, and it is licensed and inspected either way.

Does this page show inspection results for Forsyth County Family YMCA?

No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects Forsyth County Family YMCA's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
