  • My son have been going there for since he has been born. Then all of a sudden I get a phone call that they are going to kick him out for biting for one where do you think he has learn it from. You are suppose to teach kids right from wrong but this place is a joke. I have let so much slide from this place my son has came home with plenty of bite marks, bruise on his forehead, brand new pants went missing, a lot of socks went missing, his butt being so bad that he hurt him to take a bath because it burn him so bad because they wouldn’t change him correctly. There is so much more and even pictures I have. Everything happens for a reason and hopefully I can find a daycare to teach him right from wrong beside turning there back on him because he doesn’t do the biting at home. This is the worse place ever and I should have pulled him out along time ago.

  • I trusted Foundation Academy to care for my son, but unfortunately my experience left me feeling disappointed and concerned. My son has GERD, and I made it clear that he needs to be properly burped after feedings. During the short time he attended, he often came home spitting up excessively, with milk sometimes coming out of both his mouth and nose. It was very upsetting to see, and it made me question whether his feeding needs were being handled appropriately. I was also concerned about the lack of communication. There were several different staff members in and out of the room, and I was often unaware of who was caring for my son throughout the day. As a parent, especially a first-time mom, it is important to know who is responsible for your child, and I never felt fully informed or comfortable with the constant changes. In addition, some of my son’s clothing went missing, and other children’s belongings were repeatedly sent home in his bag. He also went through multiple outfit changes in a single day without much explanation. Within the same week of attending, my son became sick. While I understand that illnesses can happen in any daycare setting, the timing only added to my concerns. I also observed staff handling multiple babies and touching various items before feedings, and I personally did not see gloves being used during feeding times, which raised concerns for me regarding hygiene practices. Overall, I never felt confident that my son’s individual needs were being prioritized. As a mother, trust and communication are extremely important when leaving your child in someone else’s care. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I decided it was best to withdraw my son from the program and seek care elsewhere.

  • On March 30th 2026, while dropping off my son for his first day, I witnessed another infant in the class fall onto their face. The teacher in charge of the room did not respond to the infant for about 10 seconds. I understand babies will fall and wrote the delayed response up to being busy handling our intake. I called twice throughout the day and was given very minimal updates regarding my son's meals, naps, and bowel movements. At the end of the day I was told he only napped once and that overall he had a good first day. He had drank all of his bottles and had one bowel movement. On March 31st 2026, I dropped my son off in the morning and while explaining to the teacher his sleep routine, I was told very nonchalantly that another baby fell on him during tummy time the day before and I was not informed. I reached out through the procare app in the late morning requesting an update and photograph of my son, and I did not receive a response for an hour. I called the front desk and then spoke to the teacher who said "oh he's fine". I then probed for more information regarding his well being and was given minimal updates. I asked if they had received my message through the app and was told no. After double checking, she told me she would sent a photo of him as soon as she could. I then received a photo of my son improperly strapped buckled into a swing. Upon picking up my son in the afternoon, I walked into the room and saw one of the two teachers asleep against the wall in the corner. While a handful were sleeping, there were over 6 infants in the room. I asked if they could send updates through the app around midday and was told "We usually just write it on the board but we can try, we do have 9 babies in here though". I realized then that I was not going to receive the bare minimum communication I would expect from a daycare facility and my son would not be returning. I no longer trusted that my son's well being was a priority, nor that his safety was of the upmost importance. When I went to withdraw my son, I was not asked one single question as to why we made that decision and that spoke volumes to me of the values of this facility. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone looking for infant care in the area.

  • During conversations about this situation, we were told by staff connected to a sister facility that a teacher had previously been terminated for inappropriate conduct involving a child and later began working at another location possibly committing the same allegations. I cannot personally verify this information, but hearing this raised serious concerns for our family. Given the incident involving your sister facility and the lack of transparency around what occurred, we felt it was important to not choose this place or your sister facility. Parents deserve clear communication and assurance that anyone working with children has been properly vetted. Until there are clear answers, I would encourage families to ask questions and stay informed and consider other options beside this establishment.

  • My daughter attended Foundation Academy for about two months, and we had a mix of positive and negative experiences. Positives: Her teacher, Miss Summer, was absolutely fantastic — caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children. I could always tell when Miss Summer was there because my daughter had great days and I felt confident she was being well cared for. Negatives: Unfortunately, we had several ongoing issues with management and overall cleanliness. For example, my daughter’s shoe went missing for nearly a month and was later found in another classroom. This happened because she often had to switch rooms in the mornings due to the center not being fully staffed when it opens at 6:30 a.m. Many times, she had to sit at the front desk or go into another classroom, which raised concerns for me about increased germ exposure. Cleanliness and communication were the biggest problems. During our short time there, my daughter experienced multiple illnesses, including two hospital stays and several respiratory infections. The Georgia Department of Health even confirmed that daycares are required to follow certain sanitation standards for shared toys and classroom hygiene, and I didn’t feel confident that those were being followed consistently. When I asked management how often toys were cleaned, I was told “at the end of the day,” which didn’t seem sufficient for an infant/toddler setting. Communication through the parent app was also inconsistent. If Miss Summer wasn’t present, I wouldn’t receive updates, messages, or even photos — despite being told they would post throughout the day. On one occasion, my child was given a brand of diaper I had specifically noted she was allergic to because no one had communicated that she was out of diapers. Additionally, illness notifications were only posted on classroom doors rather than being sent out digitally, which created safety and health concerns for families who rely on others for drop-off and pickup. Overall, while Miss Summer was wonderful and clearly cares about the children, the center’s management, communication, and hygiene practices need serious improvement. I would recommend Foundation Academy only if those issues are addressed and staffing becomes more consistent.

  • Haley took incredible care of our baby! Our sweet boy was very attached to us and had a little bit of a tough transition from staying home with us for so long. Haley helped us so much and made him feel comfortable which allowed us to find comfort in dropping him off. He loves her so much and she makes his day! She looked after our baby boy so well we even asked about potential baby sitting in the future. Haley is an amazing worker, person and caretaker. We appreciate more than we could ever express!
