  • Best place by far. Literally the most welcoming center and they love my baby. Wouldn't trust anyone else to love and care for my child.

  • I’ll just say this - I have the same last name as the director there because she’s my kids’ grandma… and I pulled my kids out of this facility and they went to Whitfield Dalton Day Care.

  • Great daycare. They are open early am to late evening. Provide teaching, meals, safety. They care about the kids and try to provide best possible experience.

  • My grandson goes here, and it's been wonderful. Everyone is so nice.

  • In the beginning, they were great. Over the last few weeks, I felt like they were getting tired of how energetic my son is. They told me they were going to hold him in the 1 yr old room if he did not improve. They referred me to the Babies Cant Wait organization for "behavior issues" which turned out to be untrue (no surprise). Monday, they wrote two incident reports for 1. Following another child around because they had a ball that he wanted and 2. Drew his arm back to throw a maraca (but didnt). On Tuesday, he was screened for "behavioral issues" which were found to be false. His issue was communication. Tuesday evening, I was visiting the resting place of my nephew when the toddler room supervisor approached me (while I was sitting at the grave and mourning) and deemed it appropriate to ask about my son's screening and to remind me of the copy of the paper work she was going to need even though she had already told me twice at the daycare. I called Wednesday and spoke with the program manager who didn't seem at all bothered by what the toddler room supervisor had done. I immediately disenrolled my son that day and had him at a new daycare yesterday where (surprise, surprise) they have yet to have any issues with him and have given him nothing but praise for being sweet, helpful, and charismatic. I'm extremely disappointed with this daycare. They seem to be fine with kids who can talk, but terrible with the ones who can't speak for themselves.

Questions parents ask about Friendship House

Is Friendship House a licensed child care provider in Georgia?

Friendship House holds Georgia record CCLC-1030, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Whitfield County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.

What is Friendship House's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?

Georgia rates Friendship House 3 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. Quality Rated measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.

Does Friendship House offer Georgia's Pre-K?

Yes. The state record lists Friendship House as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.

Does this page show inspection results for Friendship House?

No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects Friendship House's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
