No child should ever be made to feel scared, dismissed, or ignored—especially in a place that’s supposed to care for them. Verbal mistreatment matters just as much as physical harm. You don’t have to lay a hand on a child to hurt them. We were told that camera footage showed no physical contact involving my nephew, but my sister personally witnessed an adult yelling at her son. That alone is unacceptable. Ignoring a child or speaking to them harshly should never be tolerated in any childcare setting. We understand that work can be overwhelming—I’m a nurse myself—but that is never an excuse to mistreat someone, especially someone vulnerable, a toddler. Accountability matters, and we will be taking further steps to ensure our concerns are heard and addressed. Children deserve patience, safety, and respect. Anything less should not be allowed.
KeriaApr 16, 2026I was recommended to give this daycare a try, and I enrolled my son in the 2-year-old classroom. Unfortunately, after only one week, I had to remove him. During that time, I personally witnessed two teachers interacting with my son in a way that I found concerning and inappropriate for toddlers. Instead of redirecting him with patience and care, they told him to “go away” and did not handle the situation in a supportive or constructive manner. At this age, children require guidance, patience, and understanding—not dismissal. What was most concerning is that the behavior I observed did not match the professionalism presented to parents. Because of this experience, I no longer felt comfortable leaving my child in their care. I encourage other parents to be mindful and, if possible, observe the classroom environment closely
Tybrea WesleyApr 15, 2026I can’t say enough good things about this daycare! My 3-year-old son has been attending for a while now, and the care and attention he receives has truly made a difference. The staff has been incredibly understanding and patient when it comes to his behavior, taking the time to get to know him and work with him in a supportive, encouraging way. What I appreciate most is the open and consistent communication. They always keep me updated on his progress and any concerns, and I’ve felt completely included in helping him grow and thrive. It’s clear they genuinely care about the children and their individual needs. Thank you to the whole team for creating a safe, nurturing environment where my son feels accepted, supported, and happy! Miss Taylor was his favorite!
Melanie PerezAug 3, 2025Grace academy daycare is truly amazing my children have learned so much going to Grace Academy and my daughter is also fully potty trained because they also help with potty training. So therefore if you’re working on potty training your child at home, they are helping you at that daycare as well. before coming to Grace Academy, I have never had any of my children in daycare before they made me feel so comfortable knowing that my children were in good hands with pictures during the day and with letting me know when my child went down for nap time, which helped a lot when I got off work. You can always write and ask how your child is doing during the day staff is amazing. Thanks Grace Academy you’re the best.
Cassandra WatkinsAug 3, 2025It’ll be a year next month since moving to GA. I am grateful that I found such a warm and caring environment for my first baby at just 4 months old which was not easy for me emotionally. The teachers are phenomenal as well as the administrative staff. If I ever had any concerns they were immediately addressed and never had to sit on worry. They feel like family for my daughter ❤️
Kayleen LemusAug 3, 2025We love Grace Academy! Our daughter's teachers are great and answer any questions I need whether in the app or in person. ❤️ She has been speaking and signing in ASL so much more since being at Grace Academy. They have treated her SO well!

Questions parents ask about Grace Academy
Is Grace Academy a licensed child care provider in Georgia?
- Grace Academy holds Georgia record CCLC-47213, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Long County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.
What is Grace Academy's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?
- Georgia rates Grace Academy 2 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. Quality Rated measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.
Does Grace Academy offer Georgia's Pre-K?
- Yes. The state record lists Grace Academy as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.
Does this page show inspection results for Grace Academy?
- No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects Grace Academy's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
