  • We made a great decision sending our daughter here for Pre-K. This was her first time really being away from home, and the teachers and staff made the transition so comforting and positive for both her and us. She had amazing teachers, and the office staff was always so kind, welcoming, and supportive. While my daughter is excited to start kindergarten, she is also sad to leave her teachers, which says so much about the love and care they showed her every day. They truly left such a wonderful impression on our family. We are so grateful for the experience and would recommend this school over and over again!

  • My son attended this daycare when he was 1 year old, and this experience has stayed with me ever since. I am still deeply affected by what I witnessed and have struggled to trust another adult with my child because of it. One day, I got off work early and arrived sooner than usual to pick up my son. As I walked past the front desk and approached his classroom, I witnessed his teacher aggressively yank him and scream “STOP” directly in his face. She did not see me or realize I had observed this interaction. When I entered the classroom moments later, she greeted me cheerfully and said he had “an amazing day.” I calmly told her that I had seen what happened. Her response was, “I’m so sorry, I get angry sometimes and I’m working on it.” I was in shock and unsure how to respond in that moment, given the setting. After this, my significant other came to the school to request further information. We were told the director would call us. When I later spoke with the director, the explanation given was that the teacher had sprayed cleaning products on the trash and did not want my son to touch it. This raised even more concern for me—why were cleaning products being sprayed in an area accessible to 8+ toddlers? Seeing my innocent child treated this way was heartbreaking, and the handling of the situation left me deeply concerned about supervision, safety practices, and emotional care at this facility. No parent should ever witness or experience something like this.

  • I really struggled with coming to terms of finding a daycare for my daughter after being use to an in home daycare. I love Ms. Diana and so does my doodle bug(3 yr old classroom)! She is so sweet and I can feel how she genuinely cares about the kids. The director Mrs. Melissa is the best director you could ask for. I have worked in childcare for over 5+ years and I have never seen a director so hands on, patient and reassuring. It amazes me that no matter what time I drop off or pick up it’s nice, quiet and smells good. Most daycares are loud or someone is screaming crying but nope even the baby room is always settled and in their comfort zone. Everyone is always polite and friendly even the young ladies that assist in the afternoons!

Questions parents ask about Green Acres Preschool

Is Green Acres Preschool a licensed child care provider in Georgia?

Green Acres Preschool holds Georgia record CCLC-1109, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Douglas County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.

What is Green Acres Preschool's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?

Georgia publishes no Quality Rated star rating for Green Acres Preschool. Participation is voluntary, so a provider without a rating has not been assessed under the programme rather than been rated poorly, and it is licensed and inspected either way.

Does Green Acres Preschool offer Georgia's Pre-K?

Yes. The state record lists Green Acres Preschool as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.

Does this page show inspection results for Green Acres Preschool?

No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects Green Acres Preschool's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
