  • My daughter only attends here for after care but I am so grateful! Miss Dorothy is so sweet and caring. When things change suddenly you have to move fast as a parent so thank you to Ms. Florence as well for speeding up the enrollment process :)

  • owner does horrible business and has horrible manners from hanging up in my face to yelling and being belligerent. This may be a "cheap" daycare, but this owner does not understand conflict resolution, and I can't wait to remove my children from her care. The teachers are great but the owner has left a horrible taste in my mouth

  • This is truly a special place. A fine establishment run by two incredibly remarkable women. Florence and Joy are two of the most sincere, caring, and understanding people I have ever met. They are empathetic to each and every parent and nurturing to each and every child. I do not hesitate to recommend Highlands to my friends and colleagues who are looking for child care. I know they will be in good hands.

Questions parents ask about Highlands School

Is Highlands School a licensed child care provider in Georgia?

Highlands School holds Georgia record CCLC-1008, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Fulton County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.

What is Highlands School's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?

Georgia rates Highlands School 2 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. Quality Rated measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.

Does Highlands School offer Georgia's Pre-K?

Yes. The state record lists Highlands School as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.

Does this page show inspection results for Highlands School?

No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects Highlands School's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
