My son started headstart in August 2025 he was on waiting list for a year once he started I thought he would like it until he started acting out probably from boredom and lack of a challenge…the teachers are all lazy give me attitude when I arrive to pick up/drop off my kid one day one of his teachers even told me to consider switching to an all “black” school so he could fit in plus on another day brought my son out aggressively by his wrist and walked back in without telling me about his day or greeting me….different people called me everyday to pick him up after being there an hour and a half because of some kind of behavior plan….he hasn’t learned anything other than what I teach him at home I’m 7 months pregnant having to leave work everyday just to pick him up after an hour of him being there and they could care less…they only focus on their friends and family members kids after I sat in his class for a day some kids were worse than my son and yet they get to sit in class a full day…called lady in charge of headstart and she basically bragged about how she was licensed and experienced to work with kids and how she’s good at what she does which is irrelevant when I’m not seeing anything in his class or his development that reflects on that….some people just want an easy paycheck !!!!!! Hopefully the teachers are better when he starts pre-k next year ……
