My boys, 8 and 10, absolutely LOVED this camp. When I picked them up, they were exhausted and filthy (in the best possible way). They could not stop talking about all the fun activities and they really liked their counselor who they called “Sea Dog”. But I think the real testament is that they can’t wait to go back. We will definitely be signing up for school break camps this year.

The counselors were caring, engaging, and made every child feel included. We couldn’t have asked for a better summer camp and will definitely be back!

The staff was friendly, and created a fun, safe environment where the kids were excited to meet new friends & play every day. They came home happy, tired, and full of stories. I highly recommend this camp to any family looking for an outstanding summer experience!

He absolutely loves the ropes course, canoeing, water slides, Gaga ball, swimming every day, and getting free time to do their favorite activities. I think it builds independence and confidence to try new things. He always comes home happy. Bus shuttles are convenient and on time. It’s great preparation for sleep away camp in the future.

Brandy BoraJul 7, 2026What a truly wonderful summer day camp! My son just finished his first time at JPC and couldn’t get enough. He cannot wait to go back next summer. His favorite thing was the ropes course but he really couldn’t choose. There’s so much to do, archery, swimming, canoeing, fort building, they even had an inflatable water slide two days which was an unexpected surprise! Oh he enjoyed the camp store too, lol! There’s so much more than I mention here too. It was so refreshing to drop him off and pick him up each day with him being so genuinely excited about what’s coming next. Next year his little brother will be attending camp too! Thanks for the memories Josh Powell Camp!
