  • My children have been going to daycare here since 2024. I never believed in daycare before and I literally drive an hour to take my children here. Since day one they have welcomed and loved on my babies. My children have grown so much and have learned so much from the wonderful staff(family) at Joyland! Yesterday when I was getting my kids ready they told me how much their teacher tells them all day how much she loves them.. as a mom this was everything my heart needed to hear. My babies know they are loved and wanted at school!! Not just by the teachers but the peers too! Thank you all for all you do not just for my babies but others as well. Truly teaching and showing unconditional love and how to recieve it and give it in return. Thanks for being OUR village. I would be lost without yall!!

  • Best daycare hands down! They're so kind and patient with my children. And love my kiddos like they're family. I'm so glad I stumbled across Joyland and found the perfect school for my kids.

  • Considering the former reviews I was skeptical, but so far so good. Staff is friendly. They do a lot of summer activities with the kids for the summer program, which I’ve never experienced at any childcare for my children. Multiple teachers per room. It’s an older building, but clean and welcoming. My toddler is not very good with change so I was super nervous about having to switch her to a new school. To my surprise she goes in everyday with no problems. I think that is a good sign. At her old school, she would cry every single morning. So far the only downside is having to pay the first and last week tuition, plus registration fee at enrollment. This childcare feels “homie” and cozy. I feel like children really matter here.

  • This school has teachers that are disrespectful to children. The supervisors upholds teachers in the wrong. Children should not be talked down to by an adult at anytime. 10years ago is was a wonderful place to send your children. Now it's a nightmare. Your children are not protected their treated poorly. You should be able to send the to school for an education. Sad to say but but they need to revamp and start over with respectable teachers.

  • My daughter had a hard time adjusting into a school structure when she first enrolled, but everyone at Joyland made her feel so comfortable and loved it wasn't long she was more than happy to go to daycare. That was over three years ago and now she's about the graduate the Pre-K program and they still show her the same amount of love everyday. Everyone there is so amazing and I know my daughter will miss them dearly next year. They have done amazing at making sure the kids are ahead of curriculum and prepared for each new year.

  • Ms.Pam was amazing in the 3 year old class. My son attended for 1 month and it was an horrible experience. My sons blanket was taken from him and given to another child for nap time. He waa stung by a bee and i found out 3 days later. When I asked why i wasnt informed of this the lady at the front desk didnt even know it happened and then proceeded to lecture me on checking my child's cubby every day. When i brought up the fact that she called me about him bumping his head she just shrugged her shoulders. The owner implied that i was a bad mother bc my son was there all day. Im a single mom n i work 12 hour shifts 6 days a week. I dont have the luxury of being able to only work 8 hours. There was also an incident of where my son hit another child only after that child hit my son first. Instead of disciplining BOTH children they sat my son in time out and when he wouldn't stop crying THE OWNER GRABBED MY SON OUT OF CLASS AND SAT HIM IN THE OFFICE. NEVER ONCE WAS I CALLED ABOUT THAT EITHER. I believe the 2 in the front office are racist. They pegged my son as the bad little black kid from the jump. They never had a discussion or conference with me but instead would tell me he has behavioral issues. BECAUSE HE HIT A KID AND CRIED WHEN HE WAS PUT IN TIME OUT. That's normal 3 year old actions. Doeasnt make it acceptable but that's what 3 year olds do. Horrible daycare. And im a preschool teacher myself for the past 6 years. Never have i ever had such a horrible experience at a daycare. But hey if ur child is white and perfect this is the daycare for you!

Is Joyland Child Development Center a licensed child care provider in Georgia?

Joyland Child Development Center holds Georgia record CCLC-57474, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Hall County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.

What is Joyland Child Development Center's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?

Does Joyland Child Development Center offer Georgia's Pre-K?

Yes. The state record lists Joyland Child Development Center as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.

Does this page show inspection results for Joyland Child Development Center?

No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects Joyland Child Development Center's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
