Kidz choice Academy

I’m so thankful for Kidz choice! My kids have been here for a year and they love it! Mrs, Samantha is awesome and so understanding I don’t know what I would do without her.

OMG, Miss Samantha is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every single day my baby sees her, she runs straight into her arms, and my heart just melts 😍💖! I love getting updates on my baby and the teachers are always happy the whole place just feels so positive and fun now! I actually thought about leaving before because it felt like mostly playtime and one day there was even a random guy in my daughter’s classroom 😳 but now it feels like a REAL school and I couldn’t be happier! 💕 Now it’s tax season I noticed some of my past payments are missing that I sent to the old director Keyshia I sent about 4 payments when I first got there so I reported it to my bank and the Gwinnett police to make sure I won’t get in penalized and my taxes are correct if any of you other parents runs into the same thing I totally recommend doing the same it’s for the best! I’m so thankful for all the changes and LOVE having my baby here!! ✨🎉💖

I made the decision to leave Kidz Choice Academy primarily because of the new director, Samantha. Her behavior toward both parents and children was consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. She does not know how to communicate appropriately with children or families. The daycare regularly questions children about their parents’ personal lives and activities outside of daycare, which is extremely inappropriate and invasive. Children are written up and even removed simply because staff do not want to properly care for them. The classroom ratios are unsafe—often around 10-15 children to one adult. My child came home multiple times with dirty underwear because staff did not allow her to use the restroom or even ask if she needed to go. Academically, the center is failing the children. They could not even spell my child’s name correctly and were actively teaching her to spell her own name wrong. The teachers who actually taught the children quit, leaving the kids with no real learning happening throughout the day. Staff regularly forget which children belong to which parents and cannot remember children’s names—even though the kids are there all day. That level of disorganization is alarming. They also become irritated when children ask for an extra snack after being there for long hours, which is unacceptable. The center is severely understaffed, messy, and clearly more focused on money than the well-being of the children. Special needs and therapy teachers are being used as regular classroom teachers, which is inappropriate and unfair to children who require specialized care. Staff have told my children they would have to run up hills as punishment for not listening. This kind of treatment is harmful and disturbing. This daycare has the potential to seriously damage a child’s mental and emotional health. When the previous director left in September 2025, many families removed their children for the same reasons. The current leadership is a disgrace, and the state should investigate this daycare for the safety and well-being of the children still enrolled.
