  • I like the Kidz 1st staff and learning/care of my infant/child. I just wish they would follow the center closing according to the handbook, especially Christmas and New Year. Some parents plan around the days and they add on days not long n the handbook. Update your information for parents who depend on accuracy and planning. SN- changed my name because I don’t want my infant/child to be released for this review.

  • I wanted to write this review weeks ago, and here I am writing it now, on our oldest child's last day (tears!). It is hard for me to articulate how wonderful KFCDC has been to our family, but I will try. We came upon Kidzz First back in 2020 via a friend whose child went there. It was described to us as a neighborhood daycare with to-be-expected pricing. We took a brief virtual tour (again, COVID), and nervously signed on the dotted line. Our older son started here at 4 months old, as did our younger son, and the care they have received is excellent! The teachers pour their love and attentiveness into each of them every day -- from the structure of the day, the programming, and the skills, they understand the necessary balance between growing academically and socially, along with achieving success in their daily life skills: Feeding themselves, walking, zipping their own coats, and using words to express their feelings. I have full confidence that my older son is equipped with skills that cover the important areas of interpersonal communication and independence for this next stage in school (independent play, caring for and taking responsibility for his own things, and active listening). On the day-to-day side, they have been wonderful communicators with us with daily schedule/happenings/messaging via an app. This has been most appreciated. They also announce upcoming happenings via monthly email (again, thank you!). The time and effort the newsletter takes does not go unnoticed. They will call when your child is sick and needs to be picked up. I also want to highlight the creativity and fun that the teachers infuse into their lessons -- role play with putting on plays/skits, play centers, plenty of time outside, and fun field trips -- the variety gives the kids a chance to interact with one another in myriad ways and places. The fun I have heard my son talk about this summer has been delightful to hear: Making their own pizzas at the local pizza place, going to the movies, and going to the zoo! I am so thankful for the fun experiences they have afforded the students during the summertime. We have had a chance to connect with other parents and students, who have become our friends and our children's first friends as well. In joining KFCDC, you are joining a community whose teachers love and nurture your child, and who will also be partners with you and guide you as your child grows and moves through different stages. (Love y'all!)

  • we love Kidzz first! My son has been coming since a toddler and even though he is moving onto kindergarten, the school has continued to support us which is helpful beyond words. My son has grown so much since being there, we love this school and are so grateful for the awesome staff!

  • We loved our time at Kidzz First. The infant teachers were wonderful. It's well organized and communication is clear and timely. Highly recommend this, even for the littlest of kiddos (the infant teachers are amazing!). Thanks Kidzz First for being a great resource here in our EAV community.

  • We have been a part of the Kidzz First family for 5 years now. All three of our boys started in the infant room and our oldest is moving on to kindergarten in August. To say we’ve loved our time here is an understatement. The teachers and staff are beyond amazing. Our kids love school and are excited to go each day! The fun and academics are exceptional. Our 5yo is starting kindergarten already reading and doing plenty of math. We’re really impressed with all that has been poured into him! We highly recommend KFCDC to anyone looking for a family atmosphere where your kids will grow, learn, and have fun!

  • My now 6 year old first started at KFCDC for Pre-K in 2022 and has attended their summer camp each year since. My 4 year old started here for preschool in 2023 and will be at KFCDC for Pre-K starting in August. Both of my kids have thrived here academically and socially. The teachers we've had have been above and beyond and have been with KFCDC for years. They post videos of the kids activities every day and provide excellent feedback during scheduled parent-teacher conferences. They promote kind and encouraging behavior amongst the class and reinforce this behavior. The Director is an outstanding and communicative leader and is quick to respond. The school has an excellent safety protocol and I have never been concerned or worried about my kids' safety. They do fun, creative activities with the kids each week. More importantly, both of my kids have always looked forward to school here and literally run through the door. When I pick them up each day they are happy.

Questions parents ask about Kidzz First Child Development Center

Is Kidzz First Child Development Center a licensed child care provider in Georgia?

Kidzz First Child Development Center holds Georgia record CCLC-646, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Dekalb County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.

What is Kidzz First Child Development Center's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?

Georgia rates Kidzz First Child Development Center 3 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. Quality Rated measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.

Does Kidzz First Child Development Center offer Georgia's Pre-K?

Yes. The state record lists Kidzz First Child Development Center as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.

Does this page show inspection results for Kidzz First Child Development Center?

No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects Kidzz First Child Development Center's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
