I am so grateful for my son, Tatum’s, time at La O’wn from 4 months old to 4 years old! Ms. Jennifer, the owner, and teachers loved on him with so much care, they guided me when I needed it and they put me at ease when I had early motherhood questions. He loved his classmates and made so many sweet friends - we had play dates and went to many birthday parties - it truly was a wonderful experience :) Ms. Sou was incredible with the kids in the 3s classroom - Tatum learned so much! I was so impressed with the curriculum taught and how excited he was to come home and show me his school work. I appreciated so many teachers— Ms. Kewanna, Ms. Kai and Ms. Ida! I also really enjoyed getting to know the other Moms - the Mom game is strong! Some other standouts to me were - I loved the size of the classrooms, I loved how the staff thoroughly cleaned the facility each day, I loved how there were extra activities I could sign Tatum up for (he loved Playball!) and lastly I loved the intimate ‘mom & pop’ feel of the school — our family felt known. It’s bittersweet to be off to elementary school now… I’ll always be thankful for the community and love felt at La O’wn during Tatum’s first 4 years and my first 4 years of being a Mom! 🤍

The director and all staff have been so kind and relationship driven- my kid is not just a number to them! My daughter has been happy to go to school every day since day 1, which tells me everything. I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful childcare community for my kids!

They check off all the boxes Amazing well educated caring staff, great day to day curriculum in classes, fun play and activities, nutritional lunches, and great communication between teachers and parents. 🤗
kiah coachmanFeb 19, 2025We have been part of La O’wn since 2019, starting in the infant room, and it has been an incredible experience every step of the way. The teachers, especially Mrs. Jennifer and Mrs. Jan, have been amazing—caring, dedicated, and truly invested in the kids’ growth. Our son has absolutely loved his time here, and we’ve been so impressed with how much he’s learned. The curriculum for the 4-year-old and Pre-K programs is fantastic, and we’re so glad we decided to stay for Pre-K. Beyond the academics, the school creates such a warm, fun environment with family activities throughout the year. It’s been a wonderful community for our family, and we will be very sad to leave when our son heads to kindergarten this fall. We are so grateful to have found La O’wn and highly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing, enriching early education experience!
sal najaFeb 11, 2025We’ve been at La ‘Own for the past six years and have had a wonderful experience with both our girls. The staff have always treated our girls like their own and we are so grateful for their warmth and kindness. The facility is always kept clean and never feels overly noisy or chaotic. La Own hosts regular events for parents to come and spend time together and keeps us updated all day long on what’s going on in the classrooms. I toured a lot of daycares in the beginning and La Own felt like home from day one. We’re so grateful for Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Jan, Ms. Sou, Ms. Stefanie, Ms. Ida, Ms. Dominique and all the other wonderful teachers who have showed our girls so much love over the years.
Emily BrownFeb 7, 2025La O’wn is a wonderful daycare! My daughter has been attending since she was 5 months old and the staff is like an extended family to her. Jennifer and Jan are warm and loving. They spend time in every classroom helping out with the children and cleaning after the day is done. There are a lot of other staff who have been working there for a while who my daughter absolutely loves! The school recently got repainted inside and all new furniture. Their toys and supplies always seem in good shape. It always smells so clean. I love that it’s not just a daycare, they also have a set curriculum. They are very honest and communicative if my daughter falls down/ has an injury or seems sick. I recommend this place 10/10
