We have had a great experience! My toddler has been in two rooms so far at Lakestones and loves going to "school". The staff is lovely and is transparent about any events (disciplinary, behavior, etc.) which we appreciate. We definitely recommend Lakestones to anyone looking for child care.
Breanna BoundsJun 15, 2026My spouse and I visited this daycare with the intention of enrolling our 2.5-year-old daughter. We are an immigrant family; although our English is not flawless, we are able to understand everything being said and express ourselves clearly. The receptionist noticed that we were immigrants and did not appear particularly eager to assist us. However, after we insisted, they agreed to give us a tour of the facility. They informed us that the daycare was currently at full capacity and that there was a waiting list; we expressed our desire to be added to this list. Acting as if they did not want us there at all, the receptionist refused to provide us with any information, merely telling us to leave our email address and assuring us that they would get back to us. We even offered to pay the fee required to be added to the waiting list; yet, unfortunately, throughout the entire week that followed, we received neither an email nor a phone call. I sent multiple emails to follow up on the situation, and finally today—for the very first time—someone got back to me. The reason for this response was likely the discomfort they felt after we confronted them about their discriminatory behavior. I have absolutely no intention of letting this matter rest; I plan to file a formal complaint with the relevant authorities
Bengü BalcıApr 23, 2026We started at this daycare right when they opened and it has been amazing. I love the director Mrs. Adrienne. She does an exceptional job. The teachers in the toddler room are always so joyful and the kids really love that, it makes the drop off very easy. Love you all!
Cheryl ElaineFeb 5, 2026Coming from someone who was terrified to let their child go ANYWHERE because of a truly horrifying previous experience with a different childcare facility.. I love this place. It took me a bit to write this review, because I wanted to make sure I had full confidence in my words. Trust is built in my book, especially when it comes to my child. And several months in- I can say with full confidence this place is wonderful. All of the teachers here genuinely care about the kids. My child is 4 and is in Ms. Aleia’s preschool room. She tells me all the time about her “beautiful sweet teacher” (her words). I have asked her about every adult/ teacher she comes in contact with here, by name. She just loves everyone, everyone is so sweet to her. Ms. Adrienne & Ms. Melinda are knowledgeable & consistently finding activities for the kids, cute ideas for the school, & looking to improve in any way they can. My daughter looks forward to going to school every day. She can’t wait to go play with her friends and learn. She feels safe here, and I feel safe when she’s here. Couldn’t recommend enough.
Tia TolbertOct 23, 2025I had to immediately withdraw my son for Lakestone. 10/10/25 1st incident: Melinda let my son remain in a soiled diaper air several hours to the point that when we arrived home, his bottom was raw. When we wiped his bottom, he cried in pain. I never received a call or message about this. I spoke to his teacher Hope and Melinda the next morning. Melinda told me yes she noticed that he cried when she wiped and changed him every hour. That was a lie. I scheduled an appointment with Adrienne and she apologized and was very compassionate and understanding of my concern and frustration. Of course Melinda did not share with her the extend of her neglect. 2nd incident: my son fell while trying to grab a toy on a bookshelf causing a quarter size bruise on his face. When reviewing the footage with Melinda the lady in his classroom sat on the floor, talking with another teacher instead of placing the toys on ground level to prevent a fall. Both incidents could have been prevented by this facility teachers and it was not. When I expressed my concerns Melinda, again very nonchalantly said “oh accidents happen, I understand “ and NEVER acknowledge that she lied about changing my son every hour. The Director Adrienne is very professional, compassionate and truly cares for all the students that attend this facility. If the Assistant Director and some of the teachers shared the same attitude and character traits, this facility would be great.
Castillo CastillosOct 15, 2025so grateful for Lakestones! my little one has been attending since they opened basically and while his transition at first was a struggle, his teachers, Ms. Dallis, Ms. Camry and Ms. Hope have always been so patient and kind with him, communicating with me every day and giving me a heads up about anything they notice with his moods and just overall demeanor and well-being. Director Adrianne and Assistant Director Melinda are absolutely fantastic as well! Ms. Melinda is always on top of any calls she has to make and starts the conversation with if my child is okay, which I greatly appreciate. She is knowledgeable and compassionate with the children she interacts with and has a calming presence with the kids. Ms. Adrianne is always good to keep me in the loop about anything changes there might be. I could not praise Lakestones enough and am so glad to have this school and educational curriculum in my community!

What is Lakestones Academy - Cartersville's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?
- Georgia publishes no Quality Rated star rating for Lakestones Academy - Cartersville. Participation is voluntary, so a provider without a rating has not been assessed under the programme rather than been rated poorly, and it is licensed and inspected either way.
