HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT THIS “CHRISTIAN “ DAYCARE. 1 OF THEIR EMPLOYEES A BIG OLDER WHITE WOMAN NAMED TRENIECE WAS EAVESDROPPING ON A CONVERSATION I WAS HAVING WITH MY MOTHER BESIDE ME & KICKED MY TODDLER OUT BECAUSE SHE CLAIMED I CALLED HER A DEVIL WHEN I WASNT TALKING TO OR ABOUT HER. IT WAS SUCH A SURREAL EXPERIENCE SORT OF LIKE THE EXCORCIST! SHE WAS SO ANGRY YELLING AND SCREAMING AT US IN FRONT OF OUR GRANDCHILDREN. ADMINISTRATION DID NOTHING. NEVER RETURNED MY CALL OF COMPLAINT THAT I LEFT TWICE! DONT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE!
Crystal Reese-RedickJul 20, 2026I love this daycare center. They have been a staple of the community for the last 35 years. They love the kids like they are their own. They strive to show the love of Jesus in everything that they do. All staff members are kind and welcoming and very warm and loving to the children. All 6 of my children have attended this center and we are so thankful to them for the impact they have had on my family. Thank you Lakeview Christian for being a beacon to show the love of Christ in our community.
Melissa WomacNov 11, 2024My family absolutely loves this daycare and everyone that works there. My child would rather come here to daycare than stay at home. They love my kid like he is their own, and I feel so safe with him there. You won’t have to worry about your child if they’re at this daycare, I guarantee that. The teachers and directors are so patient with him, and I can tell they truly love what they do. I recommend this daycare to anyone and everyone.
MT Bass AttackOct 4, 2024I myself has never been to this day care! But they drive a van through the community! Talking through a loudspeaker every single day!!! Have they ever heard of sending an email or doing flyers instead!!! A lot of people that live in this area are older or have mental issues and hearing them yell into a loud speaker can be very disrespectful! What’s funny is VG is a community filled with people that live here! I don't give a crap if school is out for the summer or not ! there is absolutely no reason to drive through a community and have a recording going through a loudspeaker so darn loud! every single day except on weekends! like clockwork 2:00! hear this crap!
Tweeth NemethJul 2, 2024This daycare is absolutely amazing! The teachers and the directors treat my children like their own. I never have to worry about my babies when they’re here. I am always treated with respect and with very positive attitudes when I come to pick up my children, by the directors and the teachers. I HIGHLY recommend this daycare to any parent that wants their baby to be taken care of, and to be treated like family. If I could, I would give MORE than 5 stars! Best daycare in town!
Victoria ThomasJul 13, 2022My children attended this facility for day-care during the summer for about 4 weeks. I found the staff was not entirely friendly to me, as some were very rude and had an accusatory tone on occasion. For instance, one time after picking my girls up, they forgot their bags in the room. I hadn't even left the area of the desk, and I waited patiently for the staff's attention (there were other parents picking up as well) to ask them to retrieve it or for my kids to go back and retrieve it, I was met with a scowl and a very rude flat tone of "Can I help you?" even though I had literally just signed my kids out and hadn't left. They also only accept cash, and will not issue change, which is incredibly inconvenient, but their choice. The staff was also not always professional. Some were great, and some were absolutely not. We were also told we would need to purchase an additional booster seat for my oldest for field trips, which never happened and were not given any explanation on why. The only field trip scheduled was cancelled, and the staff used the money to go buy my daughter (7yrs old) an adult combo from McDonalds instead. All of that was forgivable, however my children did not enjoy it and it got to the point where they would sometimes cry about having to go in the mornings, so I withdrew my children on 7/8. Since I had paid for a week in advance and would not be using it, I requested a refund for that week and was told I would have to come back on Monday to discuss a refund at 8:30. When I came back on Monday at 8:30 I was told to come back at 10:00. Eventually I got a call from a defensive and slightly rude human, and was told no refund would be issued to to a contract stipulation, and when I requested the copy of the contracts be e-mailed to me, I was told they could not, but they would mail it. I assume this was only to be difficult, as copies of contracts are sent via e-mail frequently in my experience and there is no law preventing it. Long story short, The place seemed friendly enough to my children, but not to me. My Children, who are thrilled to get up and go to school, or go to other day cares, stopped wanting to go and would often cry before going. Some of them seemed to be overly difficult and accusatory about things for no reason, and I can not recommend this place at all. That being said, they did manage to keep my children alive on the days I did bring them.

Is Lakeview Christian Daycare & Academy a licensed child care provider in Georgia?
- Lakeview Christian Daycare & Academy holds Georgia record CCLC-35567, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Catoosa County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.
What is Lakeview Christian Daycare & Academy's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?
- Georgia rates Lakeview Christian Daycare & Academy 2 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. Quality Rated measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.
Does Lakeview Christian Daycare & Academy offer Georgia's Pre-K?
- Yes. The state record lists Lakeview Christian Daycare & Academy as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.
Does this page show inspection results for Lakeview Christian Daycare & Academy?
- No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects Lakeview Christian Daycare & Academy's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
