  • This place is an absolute disaster my daughter has competed in track for the last two years and this place is the most unorganized rec department I have ever seen. My daughter missed her two favorite events because they can’t even be bothered to do their jobs and have some organization even the coaches who coach here are constantly complaining because it’s so bad. Do not send you child here no matter what. You would be better off just letting them run in circles and waste time

  • Great area for multi-sport and other usage. Appreciate the building of the new and much needed and anticipated pickleball courts given these courts will definitely help to accommodate the developing and growing interest in the sport in Hinesville and Liberty County.

  • Raymond Gross is HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. We have played with the rec for 6 years and this man is always rude and nasty. He has no customer service skills and treats the parents as if we are an inconvenience for being there. It doesn’t matter the reason, he will ALWAYS find something to complain about. He acts like he hates his job - so just replace him already!

  • The restrooms are very clean. The staff is amazing. The playground is wonderful! I didn’t know there was a playground there until about a week ago. Our kids LOVED the playground and were upset when it was time to leave. It will definitely be our go to playground!

Questions parents ask about Liberty County Recreation Department

Is Liberty County Recreation Department a licensed child care provider in Georgia?

Liberty County Recreation Department holds Georgia record EX-51837, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Liberty County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.

Why is Liberty County Recreation Department exempt from licensing in Georgia?

Georgia records Liberty County Recreation Department under the "Government" exemption. An exempt programme is not licensed by the state and is not held to the same standards as a licensed centre or home, so ask the provider directly what oversight it does operate under.

What is Liberty County Recreation Department's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?

Georgia publishes no Quality Rated star rating for Liberty County Recreation Department. Participation is voluntary, so a provider without a rating has not been assessed under the programme rather than been rated poorly, and it is licensed and inspected either way.

Does this page show inspection results for Liberty County Recreation Department?

No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects Liberty County Recreation Department's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
