This place does not tend to children's needs or any proper rules of a "child care". Children seem to be constantly neglected as all of the "teachers" are teenage girls that cannot get off their phones long enough to pay attention to the children. All I have witnessed is the children constantly watching tv and doing absolutely nothing throughout the day, no activities, and no learning. Not to mention, the food they are given there is all canned and unhealthy foods. They have some sort of cookie or different cracker every day for snack. It is not a very clean or welcoming environment for children. I have had many incidents where my child has been hurt, and i have not received reports, and most of the time the young teenage girls working don't even realize a child has been injured. I do not reccomend this place as we had constant issues here with no solutions.
AnonymousJul 14, 2025A daycare that truly cares! Little Acres treats my child as their own. They are responsive to my questions with day to day happenings. My son never cries when I drop him off and they always greet him with a hug and smile.
Blair MorrisSep 16, 2023All 3 of our children have attended over the past 5 years. They really care about your children and do their best in a difficult business. They clean daily, even the toys are wiped down with sanitizer. For the few concerns that we have had (all minor,) we addressed with the owner and they were resolved immediately. Most of the food is homemade (i.e. Biscuit Tuesday and Muffin Fridays are the kids favorites.) Yes they are a Christian based business and pro America, the kids learn and say the Pledge of Allegiance, they say a prayer before their meals. They are also told no but I have never, not once, ever seen them lay or even raise their hands on/at a child. Are they perfect? no, but they damn sure try their best. They have taken immediate and effective precautions during COVID as well. I would and have recommended this place to multiple people.
David HejnasNov 5, 2020Both of my boys went to Little Acres and had great experiences! What my wife and I loved most was that the teachers have been there for years and that my boys were able to develop special bonds with them! We felt comfortable leaving our children and they looked forward to going to "school" everyday. Mrs. Joanne and Mr. Larry are very special people, loving and caring, what more can you ask for? My children went through the Pre K program and both on target when it was time for elementary school. I definitely would recommend Little Acres!
Richard CraigJul 25, 2019First incident was when we went to pick up my son and we found him wandering in the hallway alone and his teacher had no idea that he left the class. We should have taken him out that day. Next time was when we received a text that my son had an accident and we need to sign the report at the time we pick him up, no phone call! follow by a picture of my son with a bloody wound on his forehead. We rushed there to find him shocked , still in bloody clothes with a Band-Aid on his forehead. We asked what happened and we were told that another kid threw a toy in the air and landed on my son's forehead and then they showed us around corner toy when you could clearly say that the wound was caused by a sharp object. We asked my son and he repeated the same story which I found odd as it wasn't his style to tell a story that way but I thought maybe he's still in shock. I asked if I can watch the camera recording and they told us that there's one lady that knows how to use the system and she's out right now. We took him to doctor and the Band-Aid was replaced with the stitches. When he got back home and was calm my son told us that the kids came to him and punch him with a car toy but teacher told him that if someone ask tell them that the kid throws a toy and air and landed on my face. His teacher taught my son to lie even to his parents, good thing my kid knew better. I went back next day to confront the teacher about this when I was told that she found another job and turned her notice. How convenient. Must be sign of great economy that people find a job overnight, in 12hrs or so. I asked if we can watch the clip from the incident because what my son told is a totally different story. The owner then told me that she watched the clip of the incident and my son told us the truth but again the lady that can work the system is out and they will let us know as soon as she comes back. Long story short, they drag this so long till the footage was "auto deleted" by the system.
F MJul 16, 2019I have had my daughter here since 2014 and my son since 2016. From the moment we took the tour Little Acres felt like home. Everyone treats you like family and I have always felt my children are safe here. I wouldn't want my kids anywhere else. Their PreK program is also amazing!

What is Little Acres Child Care's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?
