  • Was driving through area and stopped here with my dogs based on a couple reviews. There is absolutely nothing there besides a boat ramp on one side and dead end road with trash can near water on other side. There lots of trash but no trails, no bathrooms, nothing. If there was anything else we missed it. No signs to indicate anything.

  • Not what I expected. Someone said there are trails here but if there are I didn't see any signs. We walked the shoreline which was fine but there was a lot of trash left behind. Non-existent parking lot (basically the road dead end at the lake), park wherever and however.

  • Nice forgotten spot. Noisy spot until about 7pm. Then it transformed in to a ghost town. I seem to be the only one camping. Cleaned up a lot of beer cans and bottles. And pulled my cot tent up onto a lake side perch. Nice breeze. Did not feel the presents of any bears or boars. Slept like a well behaved step child. No car troubles. Can be a good free overnight camping spot. On your way to somewhere else. No facilities or fresh water.

  • Great little spot for fishing and boating. Parking is limited but it's usually not very crowded. I enjoyed the hiking trail which was a little longer and better than expected. Passed a couple folks with tents and small campfire and chatted with a friendly local fisherman. Highly recommend if you just want something scenic and peaceful.

  • There's a little place to get in the river. It's a pickup spot for kayaks too. It's nice. Is clean. And there was lots of nice people there too. Some people were fishing. We were just playing in the water!

  • A beautiful hidden gem! We found it on a Google search and found it to be secluded, beautiful and well maintained. My pup and I parked our RV near the water and enjoyed a very nice morning!

Questions parents ask about Lumpkin County PreK

Is Lumpkin County PreK a licensed child care provider in Georgia?

Lumpkin County PreK holds Georgia record CCLC-673, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Lumpkin County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.

What is Lumpkin County PreK's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?

Georgia rates Lumpkin County PreK 2 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. Quality Rated measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.

Does Lumpkin County PreK offer Georgia's Pre-K?

Yes. The state record lists Lumpkin County PreK as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.

Does this page show inspection results for Lumpkin County PreK?

No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects Lumpkin County PreK's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
