  • Our son started in the Ones class with Mrs Nikki and it was the best Mom’s Morning Out program! They really go above and beyond. The communication is great with the teacher and Mrs Jessica the director. I can’t say enough good things about this adorable school.

  • My youngest son attended MPCA for 4 year old preschool. They did an excellent job with challenging him and helping him to learn and grow. I love that this preschool offers music, Stem, and plenty of time to play outside and be creative with peers within a Christian loving environment.

  • Absolutely adore this preschool. The director is fantastic and sincerely cares for each individual child as well as cares for her teachers and staff. The teachers are all amazing and the way they teach is ALL hands on learning!! My girls have made SOOOO much progress( including one of mine with a speech disability). I am so thankful for MPCA!

  • Our daughter loved her experience at MPCA. She was engaged and excited about school every day. At pick-up, she couldn't wait to tell me about all the cool things she'd done, show me her artwork, and/or teach me the songs she'd learned. It was the reaction every parent longs for in their child to a good school. The school provides a warm, nurturing environment that truly brings out the best in the kids. The caliber of kids and teachers at the school is top notch. We moved and wish we could have taken MPCA with us to our new city we loved it so much!

  • Both my children attended MPCA and we loved all their teachers! My daughter started in PreK4 and then went to Ms. Nikita for Kindergarten. My son started in the 3 year old room and went all the way to Ms. Nikita as well. They both started their 1st grade years ahead of the curriculum. My son is currently in the top reading group in his class and continues to do well! My daughter is very shy and she started her 1st grade year more confident than I thought possible for her! I can't say enough good things about Ms. Nikita and the ground work the other teachers laid for my children to be successful in school.

  • We have 2 kids (ages 3 and 4) at MPCA right now and are super happy with how they are well cared for and how they are developing new skills. The staff goes the extra mile to make sure they feel loved. The school directors are very professional and the staff does an amazing job planning fun and educational activities. One thing I really like is that my son's teacher has a Shutterfly page to share pictures, the class calendar, and a weekly summary of what they are working on. As a working mom, it is nice to be able to see what is going on in his classroom. MPCA plans many activities throughout the year to promote family involvement, such as the Mother's Tea, Grandparent's Brunch, and Pastries for Pop. My kids look forward to these things each year. I can't say enough great things about MPCA!

Questions parents ask about McDonough Presbyterian Children's Academy

Is McDonough Presbyterian Children's Academy a licensed child care provider in Georgia?

McDonough Presbyterian Children's Academy holds Georgia record EX-41813, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Henry County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.

Why is McDonough Presbyterian Children's Academy exempt from licensing in Georgia?

Georgia records McDonough Presbyterian Children's Academy under the "Day Camp and School Breaks" exemption. An exempt programme is not licensed by the state and is not held to the same standards as a licensed centre or home, so ask the provider directly what oversight it does operate under.

What is McDonough Presbyterian Children's Academy's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?

Georgia publishes no Quality Rated star rating for McDonough Presbyterian Children's Academy. Participation is voluntary, so a provider without a rating has not been assessed under the programme rather than been rated poorly, and it is licensed and inspected either way.

Does this page show inspection results for McDonough Presbyterian Children's Academy?

No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects McDonough Presbyterian Children's Academy's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
