I would not recommend this daycare based on my experience. I was told I would receive a refund, and I have voicemail from “Ms. Dee” stating that I am owed that refund. As of today, I have not received it. When I attempted to follow up regarding the refund and clarify what was previously communicated, both the director, Rita, and Ms. Dee were, in my experience, rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. My attempts to resolve the issue directly were unsuccessful. I withdrew my son because certain expectations, such as homework requirements, were not disclosed at the time of enrollment. While I understand every center operates differently, this was not the right fit for our family. At the time, I had paid two weeks in advance in addition to a credited balance on my account. One charge was later reversed, but I have not received the remaining refund for the unused time my son did not attend, despite being told I would. In terms of the environment, I personally observed what I felt was a lack of structure, including frequent use of television during care time and limited active engagement from staff. Since enrolling my son in another daycare, I have noticed a significant positive difference in his overall mood, engagement, and development. Ms. Joanne was the only staff member I interacted with who consistently showed warmth and care toward my son, and I appreciated her presence. Overall, based on my experience, I found the communication, professionalism, and handling of billing concerns to be disappointing. I would encourage other parents to ask detailed questions upfront and carefully consider their options before enrolling. If all you care about is cheap and loud colors, this is the place for you. At this point, I am exploring other avenues to address the unresolved refund. Edit: In response, defamation would mean something untrue or false was said. Everything mentioned was my personal experience including what was reiterated. As stated earlier, my refund is still owed and this daycare does bad business from my own PERSONAL experience. The police were called to make record of such. The review still stands. The homework policy was not communicated upon enrollment. Make that clear next time so parents can move accordingly. I work two jobs(optional) not three. Still waiting on my refund that was promised to me and also on voicemail which has been transcribed to present as proof. Good day.
Symone AustinMar 19, 2026My toddlers have been going here for almost a year in July and I LOVE it! I’ve had no issues. Communication is well and my babies have learned so much. As an educator, I am big on their learning not being diminished. And this school tops it for me. I love the staff as well as my babies and that is a PLUS for me. They are literally excited to go each day and sometimes don’t want to leave!
Angel Sharee’Feb 13, 2026The ladies there were generally good, so that wasn't the issue. The main problem we faced was a lot of miscommunication and impatience with our child, primarily from the director. My wife and I are foster parents to a 3-year-old who was 2 and a half when he started there in late July 2024. He came into our care in July. When he arrived, he had some developmental issues and was behind in certain areas. Later, he was tested and it was confirmed that he was behind in some areas. Everything was mostly fine until November, after he turned 3. They wanted him to be fully potty trained. We were working on it, but they made us feel like we weren't doing enough. Another issue was that he had visits with his biological mom, which were out of our control, causing him to leave and come back. The last major issue was that he attended school for half the day and then came to daycare by bus. They didn't like the bus driver because they had to go out and get him. They told us he couldn't come back because they couldn't accommodate his needs, whatever that means. They wanted him to go to the 3-year-old class, but he wasn't potty trained, so he couldn't join that class. The frustrating part was that they gave my wife a letter saying he couldn't come back, which was dated a week before than when we received it, giving us only a week to find a new daycare. When his case worker went to speak to the director to request an extension, she refused for various reasons. When asked about the letter, the director claimed she didn't know about it. How can you be the director and not know about a letter that was typed, written, and given to us? Very unprofessional. If you have children with developmental issues, I wouldn't recommend this daycare. If you have foster kids who visit their biological parents and get picked up and brought back, I wouldn't recommend this daycare at all. They don't have enough staff or patience. Hopefully, they figure it out and realize that kids develop at different rates.
Jamel MillerFeb 6, 2025New Beginnings is truly an amazing facility I’m grateful to have found them for my kids. The staff has been so caring and patient(especially Ms. Mami the 2yr old teacher love her!)with both my boys and they genuinely enjoy being there. It is such a comfort as a parent knowing that my children are in good hands there.
Chayanne EysaleneSep 4, 2024Ms. Melissa the director is very passionate and make sure the kids are getting taking care of correctly by each teacher. Ms. Mamie is an excellent teacher she makes sure my 2 year old daughter is taking care of. I would recommend this daycare to any parent that would like to enroll their child into day care to come here, your child will also learn too while in daycare.
Joya BrooksDec 19, 2023It took me almost the whole year to find a school where my kids are supervised and actually learning. Bringing my children to this school was the best decision ever. My husband and I can FINALLY go to our jobs and work peacefully, not having to worry if our kids are okay at school. Ms. Melissa is truly a gem! She welcomed my family with open arms. My son was not to well and the day he missed school everyone was checking on him. It showed me that they care. I love Ms. Miller as well. I’ve watched her with my son who’s 1 and I’m impressed. Thank you Ms. Rita for having an amazing staff. ❤️
