  • The teachers and administrators really care about the children AND the family. Our kids have been here for years, and even through some teacher turnover they always strive to maintain a consistent and educational environment. If desired, they give real and meaningful feedback about your kids, which I love because it shows they are truly engaged and take the time to understand them. We love New Gen - Bright Horizons.

  • I am very thankful I found this center! From the welcoming smiles in the morning, to the cheery see you laters in the evening, It’s been almost a year and I am still just as pleased, if not more pleased as I was from day one! The staff is very attentive, polite, and caring. My son started in the toddler class with Ms Barbara. She was everything I needed. I left my son every morning knowing he was in great hands! She simply feels like family! Now he’s 2 and in the Early Preschool class! When I tell you Ms Ecole and Imani have been on it! They are very approachable and don’t mind me, as a parent, asking questions and expressing concern! My son’s vocabulary has enhanced so much. I’ve witnessed them engage with the children through books and small talks. Oh and his potty training is outstanding after only two months! We foster a hands on/ independent approach at home and I’m grateful that the children here at New Generations are encouraged to learn through self discovery! While I’m at work taking care of others, I’m at ease knowing my son is equally being taking care of!

  • We have two children and have therefore had experience with multiple child development center facilities. New Generations is hands down the best run we have seen! Here's what we love most: HIGH-QUALITY ADMINISTRATION AND STAFF Ms. Lakia, the director, is very switched on. She runs the program well, with clear communication, care and kindness. The teachers provide quality care, making it a point to truly know and love on the kids. LOW STAFF TURNOVER My son has had the same lead teacher his entire time there. We moved to New Generations from a facility that seemed to be in search of new teachers on a biweekly basis, so the consistency and quality of the staff has been huge for us — and is another indication of how well run New Generations is. CLEANLINESS When we were a few months in to starting at New Generations, my husband and I both suddenly realized that our son had not yet gotten sick. Fast forward to a year later and I'm happy to say we've only had one illness (and I'm not sure if he caught that from school or from his big brother). This has not been our experience with other daycares, where sickness seems to haunt the kids every week. I'm not sure what it is about New Generations, but for us the fact the kids don't seem to spread germs as much as at other places has been a pleasant surprise. (Knocking on wood now!) EDUCATION, ACTIVITIES AND ENGAGEMENT You get photos of the kids every day, and the range of engaging activities the kids are doing every day is excellent. At home, I find my son quite difficult to keep entertained, but he is always so immersed in the crafts and activities they do at school. New Generations has an excellent outdoor play area as well, and I love that they make a point to spend quality time outside every day. MEALS My son is a picky eater, so I pay a lot of attention to what and how well he eats. At New Generations he eats very well, with well-rounded meals that I always think smell amazing as they're being prepared! If you're looking for a truly quality care experience for your child, take it from a mom who's seen her fair share of programs: You cannot go wrong with New Generations!

  • The staff here is amazing and they have been a bright spot for our family after a tough experience with our previous daycare center closing. They welcomed us with open arms and have been positive, accommodating, and helped restore my faith in daycare.

Questions parents ask about New Generations Child Development Center

Is New Generations Child Development Center a licensed child care provider in Georgia?

New Generations Child Development Center holds Georgia record CCLC-50787, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Dekalb County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.

What is New Generations Child Development Center's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?

Georgia rates New Generations Child Development Center 2 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. Quality Rated measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.

Does New Generations Child Development Center offer Georgia's Pre-K?

Yes. The state record lists New Generations Child Development Center as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.

Does this page show inspection results for New Generations Child Development Center?

No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects New Generations Child Development Center's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
