I toured this daycare and was very impressed with the facility. The classrooms appeared well staffed, and I was genuinely interested in enrolling my daughter. During the enrollment process, I disclosed that my 3-year-old daughter has mild autism. I also explained that she has a full-time ABA therapist who attends daycare with her and provides support throughout the day. The staff member I spoke with told me she would need to check and call me back. After waiting several hours, I called back for an update. During that conversation, I was told verbatim that they “don’t take special needs children.” As a parent, I found this response extremely disappointing. My daughter is a bright, loving child who has professional support with her throughout the day, yet she was seemingly dismissed based solely on having a diagnosis. I believe every child deserves to be evaluated as an equal individual. Because of this experience, I will be filing a complaint with the appropriate agencies being that this is a government funded program that participates in CAPS and this matter will be dealt with. I hope the center takes steps to ensure that families of children with disabilities are treated fairly and respectfully in the future.

Konstantin RodosMar 18, 2026A wonderful daycare. My son attended from the age of 3, and we are very grateful for the professionalism of the teachers and especially our teacher Nicole, who showed care and individual attention to each child. I highly recommend this daycare.

Questions parents ask about New World Academy
Is New World Academy a licensed child care provider in Georgia?
- New World Academy holds Georgia record CCLC-62819, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Gwinnett County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.
What is New World Academy's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?
- Georgia rates New World Academy 2 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. Quality Rated measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.
Does New World Academy offer Georgia's Pre-K?
- Yes. The state record lists New World Academy as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.
Does this page show inspection results for New World Academy?
- No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects New World Academy's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
