  • My child has been here since she was 8 months old and she’s now in their pre school program. She has loved it here and loves all her teachers, so much so when I asked her if she wanted to move to another daycare that was closer to us she denied saying she wanted to be with all her friends and teachers. Her teachers give updates daily and whenever accidents inevitably occur (falls, scratches, etc) they always send home an incident report outlining what happened. Both the director and assistant director are always friendly and greet parents as we walk in. For the last 3.5 years we’ve never had any issues and my daughter looks forward to going to school every week 😊

  • I like the daycare but I love would more updates about my child, and her well being. I would also love it more if the teacher that is assigned to my child gave me updates on my childs learning skills.

  • I can’t say enough good things about this daycare! The staff truly goes above and beyond for the kids — they’re caring, patient, and treat every child like their own. The facility is always clean, organized, and welcoming, which gives me so much peace of mind. My nephews have learned so much since they started here — they’re so smart, social, and confident now! You can really tell how much love and effort the teachers put into what they do. I’m beyond grateful for this place and highly recommend it to any parent looking for a safe, loving, and educational environment for their child.

The cook is funny too, she looks after my babies. Thank you. Always making sure even if we are late. They have an extra plate available. Love love love it!!

  • 1 star only becausw I have to put it in order to make a review. HORRIBLE! DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD(REN) HERE. The reviews are not lying. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHULD HERE TO NEXT GENERATION LEARNING CENTER. First off, the director will have a good pitch for your scheduled tour, as if they are a great daycare and they take care of your children. They have this open door policy, they say. WRONG. They are very hostile. The owner put on Facebook last year that they hire 16 years old. THAT IS A FLAG. A child monitoring other children? They are understaffed, ALWAYS. Children are being kept in the front office and lobby area because they are understaffed. That is a safety concern. The cook is never wearing gloves when cooking and never wash her hands, cross contamination. I have seen her wipe her nose while serving food. The staff members will tell your business. All they do is sit around and talk. It is unacceptable for an assistant director to tell other parents which child, giving a full name, has contacted what. HIPAA. The assistant director even talk about parents who are behind on their weekly payments. She is always grumpy and talk about “back in her day” when comparing parents. She is always mean to the students in the morning time heading to school by transportation. They even allow the teachers to take payments over the phone and in person. Staff members (teachers, but they are really sitters) do not give updates about your child. Lack of communication. When you ask a staff member about something, it is always “I don’t know. I come in the afternoon.” My child lip was busted once. I never received a phone call. When I got there, I asked what happened and the staff told me “I come in the afternoon. I don’t know.” I have had my thoughts of my child being mistreated. Staff members are disrespectful and unprofessional. Honestly, I don’t see how they are still up and running. When you check their reports, they had 2 employees criminal record check missing and they were hired in 2014 and 2020. One of the staff members was the director. Wow! The director is very hostile and the nerve of her to not be in compliance. They have had a staff member kick another child on the playground which made the news. The staff are so unprofessional, they were all on Facebook defending their ex co-worker when the video went viral. Unprofessional all around. They are not the place where you can feel a little at ease while being away. I can go on and on, BUT DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. ****Ironically, new reviews were made after this post. I can guarantee you they made and asked parents to write a “fake positive* review. ****

Questions parents ask about Next Generation Learning Center

Is Next Generation Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Georgia?

Next Generation Learning Center holds Georgia record CCLC-37954, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Columbia County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.

What is Next Generation Learning Center's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?

Georgia rates Next Generation Learning Center 2 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. Quality Rated measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.

Does Next Generation Learning Center offer Georgia's Pre-K?

Yes. The state record lists Next Generation Learning Center as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.

Does this page show inspection results for Next Generation Learning Center?

No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects Next Generation Learning Center's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
