  • I had to go through this facility to question an unknown charge on my invoice. I pay every month, for the full month, and still occurred late and declined fee charges that ended in a balance. That did get taken care of. However, there was also an unknown charge for 205 that I went through this facility to question from AUGUST. They came back in OCTOBER and told me the charge was voided. But where did the money go when it was pulled was my question. The “finance department” took offense in contrast to giving me a direct answer which would’ve looked like “your money got applied here,” or “ it was placed as a credit,” or “we owe you a refund.” Instead, they made it seem like it just disappeared (their void 2 months later). I was told I didn’t know what “void” meant and “I can just remove my son by the upcoming Friday.” Very disrespectful from a parents perspective when I was only trying to get clarification. My intelligence was insulted, and my son’s attendance was threatened. My son loves his facility his teachers his friends. However, the professionalism needs to be questioned. Especially when a service is being provided and it’s the job to answer questions. Frustration is understandable, but the patronizing was not. As a veteran who has had to move around and has attended many CDCs (child development centers) even as a civilian, this was by far the worst back office experience ever. Also, voiding means to declare something invalid. Thank you for making it invalid in October however, what was the outcome between August and September? Still don’t know. I would definitely accept if I got something wrong, but their approach 0/0.

  • Me and my son love Peachtree!!! We enrolled my son when he was three and we were having an incredibly hard time finding a place for my son that offered the consistency and routine that he needed. My son was consistently exhibiting retaliatory behaviors that concerned us deeply and we were just hopeful to find a place that would give him a chance to break his defiant streak, and Peachtree did just that! At the recommendation of Ms. Laurie and the owner, JaNice, we had my son tested for Autism after they saw some of his behaviors, which we had suspected it around the same time as well. After my son was tested he was diagnosed with Level One autism and we were finally able to find some useful tactics for managing his behaviors. At the recommendation of Ms. Laurie we also found my sons ABA therapist who he has worked with for nearly 2 years now, and who he adores. When my son moved on to Kindergarten at public school we were sad to leave Peachtree, including afterschool, since we lived out of district, However, after a few weeks away we realized we did not want my son going to any other afterschool program, and placed him back into Peachtree for afterschool. I can not vocalize how grateful I am that we found Peachtree, and how amazing and kind the staff and teachers are. Every parent deserves to feel like their baby is safe and like someone else cares enough to notice, and the staff at Peachtree did and continued to do everything in their power to support my son and our family.

  • THIS SCHOOL DISCRIMINATES AGAINST DISABLE CHILDREN —-On the morning of August 8, I spoke with Ms. Laura and the infant room teacher, Ms. Shanane, regarding my 1 year old son arriving later than usual, around 11:00 a.m., due to a possible low-grade fever. I explained that I wanted to ensure he was not exhibiting any symptoms of illness before bringing him into daycare, to avoid any risk of exposing other children and staff. Upon arrival, I was told that my son late entry had disrupted the classroom routine. I acknowledged their concern but explained that my decision was based on a valid health consideration. Despite my explanation, Ms. Laura proceeded to make several inappropriate remarks. She stated that my son’s need for additional care was due to his disabilities, implying that this made him an inconvenience to both herself and the classroom teacher. She further claimed that she had missed her lunch because she was assisting with feeding in my son’s classroom. These statements were discriminatory, unprofessional, and contrary to the principles of inclusivity and equal treatment expected of a licensed childcare provider. Later that same day, I was informed that my son was being removed from the program. This decision appears to be directly connected to my earlier concerns and the accommodations my son requires, which constitutes discrimination Laura may convince you to enroll your child, but doing so would be a serious mistake. She conducts herself unprofessionally, and I regret not recognizing the warning signs sooner. If you truly value your children’s well-being, I strongly urge you NOT to enroll them here. Update- I was informed via phone call after hours that my son could not return to the program—without any prior warnings—another clear sign of retaliation based on my feedback. In addition, my 3-year-old daughter attended a single test day because the PRE-K 3 class lacked a structured curriculum. I expressed my disappointment, and Ms. Laura and I agreed my daughter could try the daycare for a day to see if it was a good fit. However, during the same call in which I was told my son could no longer attend, I was also informed that they intended to charge me two weeks’ tuition. I had to correct Ms. Laura and another representative, reminding them that I had already paid $50 for the test day. This was yet another attempt by the establishment to retaliate against me for sharing my honest feedback. They lost my Samir cup as well

  • As a first time mom I was extremely nervous about sending my daughter to daycare. She has been enrolled here for 7 months and I can honestly say it has been the best decision. She is cared for and nurtured here. From the infant room to now the 1 year old room, she genuinely enjoys her time here and absolutely loves her teachers (especially Ms. Niara!) This has been an excellent choice for our family.

  • All of the teachers at this location are nurturing to every child. Ms. Laurie, the director, is awesome! It is obvious that she genuinely cares for all of the children that attend the school, and that means so much as a parent, dropping your child off daily. I highly recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for childcare.

  • We began our search for a learning center for our son at the age of 13 months old. We were looking for somewhere that would challenge him academically as well as him being able to learn more with interactions with others. We visited about 15 different schools/child care centers but none of them fit our desires nor did they fit our sons desires. Our son began potty training at 10 months old (his choice LOL), coloring and drawing at 8 months old. By him being at home from birth, we had a learning time schedule and then we had interactive learning throughout the day so we were looking for a learning center that would do this and more. While our son was with me at home daily (from birth), my 1 hour break (with my son) would be at Starbucks and when my son was old enough to run around Starbucks, I met a young lady by the name of Kelli. Kelli had a wonderful spirit and began to ask me where my son went to school. I explained to her that he wasn't in school and that we were looking for about 6 months, for the perfect fit for our son and us but hadn't had any luck. Kelli assured me that Peachtree Academy had the best teachers and that he would learn so much more. Well, Kelli was right!!! We finally visited Peachtree Prep when our son was 18 months old and he was so comfortable, the curriculum is so on point for what we wanted for him to be challenged more, the facility is always clean, they stress safety, and although I haven't directly interacted with every single teacher but whenever I see them in passing, they have the kindest spirit. Needless to say, we enrolled our son that same day and he wanted to stay that same day. Mrs. Denise is so AWESOME! When my son started Peachtree Academy, he wasn't eating table food and wasn't use to being away from home and on a daily basis she worked with him and was so patient with him that he was eating table food within 2 months. And I loved the fact that he was able to smoothly transition from the 1 year classroom to the 2 year old classroom with no problems. While our son was still in Mrs. Denise's class, I had the opportunity to chat with Mrs. Sharon and I could tell that she would be great at getting our son to the next level and next stages in his life so I'm very grateful that Peachtree Academy has everything set up so that the children can interact and get to know every teacher. When our son finally moved to Mrs. Sharon's class after he turned 2, he was so ready and he has continued to grow each day. Long story short, Peachtree Prep has our son eating table food, he knows all of his Alphabets, the sounds that each alphabet makes, his colors, and his shapes, and counting up to 20, all at the age of 2! He has become more verbal and clear with his words and everyday he amazes me with something new that he can say or do (tear!) so I must say thank you to all of the teachers (Ms. Denise, Ms. Kelli, Ms. Bailey, and Ms. K'yong. But those that aren't our son's teachers has played a very valuable role in his growth (little that they know), I've watched how these ladies interact with all the children as well as our son and they are so great!, Ms. Rebekah, Ms. Charity, and Ms. Tanya, THANK YOU so much for being so kind and making sure our son succeeds. Mrs. Laurie and the entire team is always working hard to ensure that every child has a great daily experience and I would say that if you are in need of a family feel, safe environment, and that will get your child to the next stages of learning, this is the Academy!
