Our two year old son was hit by his teacher. Please stay away! We were excited to send him to Primrose after I had worked at the Braselton location for a few years but we quickly learned that was a huge mistake. Our son was having a lot of behavioral issues that became excessive. We tried to talk to both the owner and director, and we never really received any guidance. He hated going to school and would come home crying everyday. It even got to the point where they would call us 10-15 minutes after we dropped him off to have us speak to him over the phone. Of course, we were completely willing to go to his doctor and usually took Primrose’s side, but his doctor saw no issues. After seeing how miserable he was, we pulled him out and started him somewhere else. He has not had one issue, we have not gotten one call / note home since Primrose, and he loves his teachers. They said he is nothing like what we had told them about while he was at Primrose. Come to find out just one week after leaving, he told us that his toddler room teacher (who he named specifically) had told him to ‘shut up and sit down’ multiple times along with hitting him on the arm and pulling him across the room while he was crying. He was very specific with his details and it was completely unprompted by us. We couldn’t believe it. Of course, they have zero cameras in the room so no one knows what is going on in there. To say we are furious is an understatement, and I now know why he was acting out. PLEASE find anywhere else. The name of the school is just a name. It is not what you think and you’ll never know how your children are being treated inside the classroom with zero cameras.
Elizabeth LynnJul 15, 2026Our family had a wonderful experience at Primrose. From the teachers and teacher assistants to the administration and director, every staff member has shown genuine care, kindness, and dedication to the children and families they serve. Throughout our daughter’s time here, we have watched her grow in confidence, independence, and her love of learning. The teachers created a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment where she felt supported and encouraged every day. We always had peace of mind knowing she was in such caring and capable hands. We are incredibly grateful for the positive impact Primrose had on our daughter’s life and on our family. We will always cherish the memories made here and highly recommend Primrose to any family looking for a loving, supportive, and high-quality child care experience.
Jordan SantiagoJul 1, 2026We truly cannot say enough good things about Primrose School of Gainesville. From day one, the level of care, attention, and dedication from every teacher and staff member has been incredible. We have seen so much growth in Hardy—academically, socially, and emotionally—and we know that is a direct reflection of how much the teachers genuinely pour into each child. It means everything to us as parents to know he is not only learning, but also being encouraged, supported, and loved every single day. The leadership and administration run the school with excellence, and it shows in every detail. We are beyond pleased with our experience and feel so grateful to be part of this community. We would absolutely recommend Primrose to any family looking for a school that truly invests in their children.
Whitney LaneApr 13, 2026Choosing a daycare for our daughter was something I truly stressed over. I was nervous, unsure, and honestly just wanted to know she would be safe, cared for, and loved the way she is at home. Primrose ended up being such a saving grace for our family. From the moment I walked in, I felt an immediate sense of peace. The environment is warm, welcoming, and so thoughtfully run. The teachers and staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely care about the children. You can feel that this isn’t just a job for them, they are truly invested! Watching our daughter thrive here has been everything. It gave me the reassurance I didn’t even realize I needed. I’m so grateful we found Primrose.
Rachel L.Mar 18, 2026Went on a tour today. The director is very nice and friendly and knowledgeable. The front was well put together and clean. Once I went to the classrooms I was disappointed. The classes were dirty. Walls were dirty. The rooms smelled bad. Not an odor of diapers but an odor that felt like it is not maintained well. Smelled like moisture and humidity. The kids were high energy throwing toys and blocks. They did not seem stimulated at all. The teachers did not acknowledge my daughter or I. They looked unhappy. The room was bland and very outdated. No imagination used in their rooms. Cots piled up with blankets hanging out of them. Like there is no organization or cleanliness or pride in their rooms. I spoke to the director about all of this so she can be aware of my concerns. I also asked about cameras, they only have cameras in the front and not in the class rooms. That is concerning as a parent because if my daughter is injured I would like proof as to how this happened and make sure it was not a teacher who may have caused injury. So if you are looking for somewhere with cameras do not bother touring this facility as it will not be a good fit. It felt as though the owners do not invest their money into the class rooms for the kids. She states they have new owners who have been there a little over a year and they will start some renovations this upcoming week such as removing popcorn ceilings and painting. That’s great but they should also invest in the classrooms for the kids to have better toys. Even the older kids who attend over the summer barley fit into the chairs provided there. It was just sad and I felt like if I put my daughter there I would definitely be doing wrong by her. What they say they provide and what I saw just does not align and seems like there is a disconnect between management and the classrooms.
