Prodigy Dance Centre

My daughter has been at Prodigy for 5 years now. She enjoys the classes, her friends, and the recital. BC of those things, we allow her to continue at Prodigy. The business as a whole feels like a money grab. You are just another face/dollar. It is truly as simple as that. In 5 years I have YET to have an instructor/employee/owner ever even greet me. Year after year, at the first class, no one has ever introduced themselves or given even a small meeting to at the very least tell us about themselves, what the expectations are, what they'll be doing- NOTHING. You literally drop your child off & go. All year long, not a single hello, here is how they are doing, this is how far they've come- ZERO UPDATES. Now when it is time for tuition, costume money, recital money, picture day- oh you will get everything you need. Very detailed & organized for sure and very well done- lots of emails, Facebook posts, and interaction when it's time for money. They do put on a great end of year show every year. But that is the only TWO days of the entire year, that I see where my $200 a month for the previous 9 months has gone. There are no Christmas programs, no community events, no participating in local parades, & no coming to the studio to see progress! (OH there is a small Christmas party that is pointless. All the parents pay for everything and bring everything so Prodigy is not coming out of pocket there either. It's literally a come eat donated food for dinner & go home night.) You will essentially pay for classes, costumes, tickets, programs...and you will see them dance for two days in May. That is it. That is Prodigy. Prodigy is extremely impersonal. So again, when it comes to production & money, they have that down to a science. I can't say what any employees are like bc I have never met anyone in 5 years. Again my daughter enjoys her classes & friends so we will just continue on I suppose.

My daughter has been dancing here since she was 2. She's 8 now. Prodigy is an amazing dance studio. The teachers are wonderful and the kids performances will blow you away. The staff/owners have always been super accommodating and made all the kids and parents feel valued. Best studio in Columbus!

The best dance studio in town! They give the most grand performances! If you have a dancer in your life this the BEST place for her to be!

Prodigy Dance Centre is an A+ dance studio. They carefully analyze each student putting them in the best class to challenge them. I highly recommend this studio in every category.

My daughter has danced at this amazing studio for over 9 years now. Not only are the instructors/staff great but they bring in guest choreographers who are awesome as well which gives the students great opportunities for learning new techniques. I could say so much, but most of all it’s like family.
