  • I wish I would’ve listened to my instincts and pulled my kids from this place in their first week. On March 19th Devon Pettway, the owner, sent parents a message at 10:45 am telling us to come get our children because the fire alarm was malfunctioning. Then we get another message saying the center would be closed Friday. On Friday there was a work van out there, so I thought ok cool they’re fixing it. Then we got another message on Sunday saying the issue still isn’t fixed so they’re still closed. After that there were several other messages with excuses. Finally on March 29th we are told the center will reopen on Wednesday April 1st. I should’ve known that was a joke because I went to drop my child off and it was closed. No lights on, no note on the door, daycare van is gone. Owner is unresponsive to messages. I drive by there multiple times a day and, other than the first day, nobody has been there to fix anything. Just a week before this happened I told the owner I was pulling my kids and putting them in another daycare. He actually talked me into staying!! Now the other daycare I was going to transfer my kids to is full. All this could’ve been avoided if the owner wasn’t too cowardly to communicate. People are now saying employees haven’t gotten paid. Parents, if this place does reopen, and Devon Pettway is miraculously still the owner, DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE under any circumstances.

  • This daycare abruptly shutdown yet we’re still getting invoices. We called the main number and sent messages in the Brightwheel app, but no one has responded. On March 19, the owner ( Pettway) sent a message saying the school had to be closed due to a malfunctioning fire alarm panel but it would be reopened after repairs. From March 19-29, we have received sporadic messages from Pettway. We haven’t received any updates on the reopening or the building’s fire alarm panel since March 29, just more invoices. Recently, we drove by the school during business hours, and the facility’s van is gone and no one was inside.

  • I don't have any account at all with Red Zebra Learning Academy and they keep sending a bill to my email. They won't stop sending this to me no matter how many times I try to rectify it.

  • For this daycare to be black owned do better for your reputation. I actually give it zero stars.Do not send your child here. My daughter had her second day and when her dad came to pick her up she had a huge gash in her neck (was bleeding everywhere before the pic was taken) we have no insight on what happened all that was said was a little boy tried to grab her blanket while she was napping but a gash that big would not cause that. The director had wanted her in the infant room since she is not quite walking and the other one year olds in the toddler room are so we all decided for her to be in infant room until she gets her steghnth up. So if a “baby” tried to grab a blanket why does my child have a big gash. Daycares do not attract the best staff since there pay is on the lower side so it looks to me that they are covering for a staff who did this bc her scratch is way to deep to be a baby scratch. As a mother please find something else even if this was an accident it’s clear the staff don’t pay the best attention. We won’t be putting her in another daycare.

  • A very warm and welcoming environment. The staff is amazing and the owner is a very personable guy. It feels so much of a at home situation for me and my daughter.

  • AMAZING LEADERSHIP! We absolutely love Red Zebra! Our son has been able to gain so many social skills and knowledge since his time started, thank you to all the staff who aided us in this journey.
