  • You’d think that because this is a church-affiliated school, the staff would show more compassion, kindness, and servant leadership. Sadly, that hasn’t been my experience. I was referred by a parent whose child attended years ago; maybe the quality has gone down over time, especially under the current administrators. The bright spot was my child’s teacher. She was kind and attentive. But the administrators were a different story. For starters, they’re rarely present. The front desk manager is polite and tries to help, but she passes most questions to administrators and then nothing happens. It’s like they don’t work there just monitor from afar. When they are onsite, they stay tucked away in offices - no where near the kids. It does not feel like a welcoming place, at all, or one where your child is welcomed or wanted. Any time I interacted with admin, whether in person or by email, it felt rushed, cold and unhelpful. My biggest question was passed to “the board” with no answer. Once, I messaged admin through their app to let them know I was running 15 minutes late dropping off my 1-year-old because you know… postpartum, sleep regressions, life… The message was never even read in the app. When I arrived, I was told I was causing an issue/I was the problem, because her teacher was out and they had already adjusted their teacher ratio. Her solution (the administrator), was that I take my child back home to solve their staffing issue, even though I did what I was supposed to do—communicate. The leaders are dry in how they communicate with you and unprofessional, they are disorganized in arranging the kids and clearly too busy doing whatever they’re doing to truly engage with parents. They are sticklers to the rules in their handbook, but they clearly don’t meet parents halfway with real support or flexibility, and show zero compassion. In under 3 months, my daughter had 4-5 different teachers and was moved between 3 rooms. Most afternoons, I didn’t even know where to pick her up. I’d walk the halls hoping to find her. On her last day, no one could even locate her diapers or change of clothes. A temporary volunteer who didn’t work there full-time, but sweet nonetheless, had to go around to 4 different rooms. The items were eventually found… in a back bathroom. I shared with the admin that I’m caring for my terminally ill father while traveling back and forth, (we were out most of June) but still paying & shared that I needed to keep my daughter in care while dealing with this. I was hoping for some understanding and a one-week concession given I’d paid for SEVERAL weeks where we could not attend. Instead, I was told no and that she’d have to leave abruptly and earlier than I requested because her spot could be for a full-time student (when they promote part-time and drop in on a billboard). The school isn’t even at full capacity, so pretending to have a wait list is wild but intentional. Honestly, it’s clear I was being pushed out for speaking up when confronted. This could be a great place, but they have a lot to work on and especially if they want to reflect the Christian values and foundation they claim to stand on.

  • We absolutely love Rehoboth! Our baby boy has been here since 3 months old. He has always been happy with his teachers and we always feel confident we can trust and communicate with the staff. Teachers and staff answer phone calls and messages promptly and communicate effectively. They even offer “Parents’ Day” and “Parents’ Night” out opportunities where little ones can play with friends while parents have an outing. As an educator myself, I can say we really appreciate the peace of mind knowing we are leaving our little one with staff who really love and care for children.

  • We love RPA and how much they care for our child! She has been attending since she was four months old and loves going everyday!

  • I recently removed my child from this program due to a lack of support and extremely poor communication with parents. I requested that my child be switched to a classroom with better structure and order for his development. However, I received conflicting statements about why this couldn’t be accommodated. The head director even told me that my son’s needs couldn’t be met and that he would be a burden to the class because he’s “too much.” This comment was very offensive, especially since no concerns were previously addressed with either parent. Additionally, I witnessed a teacher handling a child roughly. When I reported this to the head director, she claimed to start an investigation but never did. The teacher in question is still employed there. This place is extremely unprofessional, and I strongly reconsider sending your children here!
