  • The interim director has been a great addition to this facility. My family feels that she and the rest of the faculty care about the wellbeing and growth of our child.

  • Moving is a big adjustment for any family, but especially for a young child. Shortly after our move, I also had to be away for several weeks for surgery, which turned our son's world upside down. Through all of these changes, everyone at Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool has shown our family so much kindness, patience, and support. What stands out most is that the staff genuinely care about the children. You can tell they are there because they love what they do and truly want each child to feel safe, happy, and successful—not simply because it's a job. They have taken the time to get to know our son, understand what he has been going through, and help him adjust at his own pace. Their commitment, compassion, and communication have given us incredible peace of mind during a difficult season for our family. Knowing our son is in an environment where he is loved, encouraged, and cared for means more than words can express. We are incredibly grateful to the entire team at Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool for everything they have done for our family. We highly recommend them to any parent looking for a preschool where the children truly come first.

  • We had our child in the toddler room at Richmond Hill Montessori for about two months in 2024 before pulling her out. During that time, she was bitten multiple times by the same child, and several of the incidents were never even mentioned to us — we found the bite marks ourselves. We only received one accident report the entire time, which was honestly really concerning. We also had concerns about how crowded and chaotic the classrooms were. There were multiple times it seemed like they were over ratio, and the rooms were often dirty. We brought our concerns up to the director, but nothing really changed and we never felt comfortable with the level of supervision or communication. At the end of the day, we just didn’t feel like our child was safe there. There are much better options in the area with better staff, better communication, and lower tuition costs.

  • We recently just moved away from the area but I cannot say enough good things about this place. My son attended for over a year before we moved. When he first started the admin and teachers were not the best but since replacing the entire admin team the place has been fantastic. They are quick to address problems when they are brought to their concern, the teachers and admin are amazing, my son loved it here. He asked about his teachers and friends when we were home and rarely wanted to leave when I picked him up. We already miss everyone here and I’d recommend it to anyone seeking care in the area.

  • We've been with Montessori for 2 years. We were under the impression that this school would help build the foundation to prepare our child for kindergarten; however we had to pull her out due to academic concerns. I expressed my concerns to the director and the teachers early on and my requests were minimized. Since we've transferred my child received an assessment that confirmed my suspicions. I highly encourage the pre-k staff to look into the Georgia standards for kindergarten and adjust their styles. Because they are truly failing the kids and they are not prepared for kindergarten. I've even gone as far as getting a tutor to assist with what we already do at home.Since transferring schools, we received an assessment of her academically and was extremely disappointed in the results. But now we received the feedback we needed to get her prepared for kindergarten. I mean she has done more at her new school in two weeks than she has done at Montessori since August. I highly encourage any parent enrolled in the pre-k program here to do a close examination of the curriculum for their little ones. Don't get me wrong the staff is friendly and helpful at times but educational needs are not being met.

  • Excellent place to care for my daughter. Everything looks in excellent condition, very clean, and the staff is highly qualified. The teachers speak several languages, and my daughter is happy and comfortable being able to communicate in her own language. Highly recommended, very professional staff.

Questions parents ask about Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool

Is Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool a licensed child care provider in Georgia?

Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool holds Georgia record CCLC-49725, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Bryan County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.

What is Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?

Georgia rates Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool 2 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. Quality Rated measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.

Does Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool offer Georgia's Pre-K?

Yes. The state record lists Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.

Does this page show inspection results for Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool?

No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
