  • Idk where all this negativity about safe haven is coming from but my kids have been attending safe haven for almost a year now, and I can say hands down this is by far the best daycare I’ve had my kids in. They don’t play about safety, sanitation, and bringing sick kids! I tend to see a lot of daycares breaking state regulations but this is the first I’ve seen that hasn’t. All the staff is very sweet and loving They most definitely report incidents and send pictures and let you know! So that’s a lie! Also, Akira is very sweet and understanding on her staffs behalf and parents! She stays neutral from my experience & If there’s a problem she addresses it in a professional manner! Some of y’all get too personal with things and forget she’s still running a business! I appreciate everybody working at safe haven 🥰🫶🏽 thank you guys for loving my babies!! I’m back again cuz baby why does my baby know sign language at the age of 1!! What daycare do you know goes above and beyond like safe haven? Oh ok! Shout out to ms. Tasha! Thank yall again 🥰🥰literally THE BEST

  • I’ve been taking my daughter here for 2 years. This is the 3rd daycare I tried she did not like the other two. I remember the first day touring Safe Haven I felt like I was making a great decision. I have a background in HR/Business Management, these ladies are doing a great job. The facility is clean and my daughter is excelling. Best decision I could have made as a first time mom. They have great communication. I’ve never called and didn’t get someone. They also update the app so much I feel at ease. No problems at all. I actually referred a good friend of mine and got $100 bonus referral. They love my baby DOWN at Safe Haven. Special thanks to Akira, Ms. CC, Ms. April and Lisa. So sweet!

  • Whew! I’m a first time mother searching for a daycare simply for my child to interact with his peers. After reading the responses from the owner, I’m back to being terrified to leave my child with anyone. Extremely combative! For this business to be called Safe Haven “Learning Academy,” yet the owner wrote; “you is” not a client🤦🏿‍♀️ What are they teaching the children? Ebonics

  • Original Review : "This was the best daycare that my daughters were in Atlanta. The girls were well taken care of. I appreciate the daily pictures received. I do think they could have a better end of day report. Love the swim days that they have. My only thing is that my children didnt learn much here. I would consider this more of a daycare than a preschool" I want to start by saying bless your heart, your team, and all the families you serve. You’re doing important work, and I hope my message and review can be received in the spirit it’s intended this time around. First and foremost, I want to reiterate that my original review was rooted in positivity and gratitude. I was a little surprised by the tone of your response, as it seemed to overlook all the positive things I shared and focused only on the one area where I expressed a desire for improvement. I truly meant it as constructive feedback, and I’d encourage you to see it as an opportunity to grow and enhance what is already a good center. We moved from Georgia to California, and my comparison is based on the preschool program here, which is part of the public school district and located in actual elementary schools. Because of that, my reference point is a bit different, and it's why I mentioned that your center feels more like a daycare compared to the structured preschool environment we’re now experiencing. This isn't meant to take away from the love and care your center offers, it could be simply it’s just a difference in educational approach for children in Georgia vs children in CA. For example, before leaving your center, both my children (ages 3 and 4) weren’t yet able to spell their names. Not sure if thats on your curriculum for toddlers that age lol. However within two weeks at their new school in California, they could identify and spell their names, and now, just six months later, they’re reading kindergarten-level books intended for age 5+. Maybe it was the new fresh air and not the new school? All jokes aside. I believe a big part of that difference is the curriculum and the fact that all the teachers at their new school hold degrees in early childhood education not just a few staff or the owner. Again, that’s not a knock on your center but a reflection of the system here, which may just be different from what’s common or required in Georgia.

  • We love Safe Haven! My daughter has been there since she was just 3 months old, and I wouldn’t dream of placing her anywhere else. Not only do they take amazing care of the little ones, but they also focus on teaching and developing early skills at a great pace. We’re so grateful for everything they do!
