Southport Academy was the perfect place for our daughter. The staff was warm, caring, and truly helped her grow. We felt confident she was in great hands every day. The environment is nurturing, the classrooms are well organized, and communication with parents was always thoughtful and clear. Highly recommend!!

The teachers are genuinely invested in each child’s education and their growth as learners. Southport Academy is committed to the whole child. They integrate compassion into their teaching standards, emphasize the importance of values, and build leaders through their classes and lessons. Southport Academy is passionate about seeing its students succeed.
Brooke DownsSep 20, 2021All three of my children attended Southport Academy and we’ve had experience at every single age group. They help with manners, potty training, social skills, and learning. My children were heads above others when entering Kindergarten. Thank you to Southport for loving my kids and for giving them a firm foundation.
Heather HarrisSep 5, 2021The owner, Patrice Havens, is extremely rude, unprofessional and quite snobby. Her attitude was always very poor and unfriendly. The last straw was when she refused to let us view video surveillance when our infant son sustained physical injuries while in her facility. She takes zero responsibility for her young, under-trained, overworked employees. We would never recommend this daycare to others.
Amy BarnesSep 4, 2021I have both of my kids in daycare here. We love all of the instructors and so do my children. The nutritional program is better than others around. The kids stay active and come home tired at night. Classes sizes could be smaller, but they make it work. Communication could be better about instructors coming and going. Overall, Lisa and team have been great. Would highly recommend Southport if you're looking for a safe and comfortable environment for your children.
