This center will allow for a caretaker to put their hands on your child and then defend the caretaker. My 3 y/o grandchild is very shy and quite the caretaker got into my grandchild's face and squeezed my grandchild's face because my grandchild removed her chair from another child resulting in the child falling down uninjured. Instead of the caretaker teaching better, she decided to take he anger out by squeezing my grandchild's face and yelling at her. The office deleted the camera footage and then defended the teacher by denying my 3 y/o alligation as if my grandchild made that story up. I asked my grandchild multiple times on separate occasions and my grandchild repeated the same story. Including in front of the director. Very uncomfortable and untrustworthy center.
Grace WilliamsFeb 14, 2026My son has been going here for a year now. Everyone greets him by name as soon as we walk in the door. He is sent home with a daily sheet every day of what he has ate, how long he slept and if there was any issues that day. Any time he has feel or anything with him has taken place they have always called and let myself or my husband know. The staff is always so nice anytime I've spoken to them.
Katie BledsoeJul 3, 2019My daughter takes her son here, and was able to get him in without any wait. I have dropped him off and picked him up numerous times. Every staff member calls him by name and treats him very well. They keep track of his sleeping and eating and send home that information every day. Rates are very reasonable and less expensive than several church daycares we checked into. I Highly recommend them.
Duane EngelDec 29, 2018If I could give zero stars I would. How the owners treat or have treated some of the staff is horrible. To not allow a staff member to take a lunch break and have them work 9 hours with out a break is not acceptable. Eeoc should have been informed. But then again,I needed a job at the time. It breaks the heart to know that people.
Amybeth WilliamsNov 23, 2018My son attended this daycare from the time he was 4 months old until he left for pre k. I have never had a problem with anyone at this facility. The staff is amazing and the director assistant director and front end are amazing. Anytime my child was outside and I picked him up they always made sure he was clean. No complaints! I love the women of start smart.
Ashley WhippleNov 11, 2015This daycare was Not Good at all. They sent my 2 year old home face and hands covered in dirt from playing outside. They wouldn't even wash her hands, so unsanitary. If for any reason the staff begins to have a problem with the parent, believe they will not treat the children fairly this is from first hand experience. They lack customer service and can be very rude. Instead of addressing concerns or issues with the parent, they will start calling and attempting to send the children home over false diagnosis.... I took my child to the doctor 3 times within 1 week over the daycare's diagnosis and not one time was my child ever sick or had "symptoms" of these diagnosis'. Each time I brought my child right back with a cleared dr. note that there was nothing wrong. 3 days I had to miss work because they apparently had a problem with me and wanted to take it out on my kids. SICKENING!!!!!
