My daughter has been attending this school for 6months. We both love it. It’s a family oriented yet professional environment. She’s been excited to learn. Students have to earn their belts/promotions. They are required and encouraged to have discipline. The passion in the instructor is undeniable. He takes it very seriously and it’s evident in the students who take it seriously also. This is my daughter’s outlet and I can see a change in her confidence since attending. They cheer each other on and encourage each other. The owners and staff are honest, great, hard working people. Would recommend to anyone.
Gisselle RiveraMar 6, 2026A Truly Professional and Caring Tae Kwon-Do School We came from another martial arts school and didn’t realize what our child was missing until we joined Stockbridge Tae Kwon-Do Academy. The difference in professionalism, competence, and genuine care was immediate. The academy is supportive and focused on building strong character, discipline, and respect in its students. There are no contracts and no unnecessary add-on fees—students earn their belts through real skill, hard work, and constructive feedback. Students are also encouraged to help each other improve, which builds sportsmanship, confidence, and leadership—qualities that carry far beyond the mat. The instructor, his wife, and the staff communicate clearly with families and are always respectful, kind, and committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment. Highly recommend this academy to any parent looking for a skilled, trustworthy, and professional martial arts program in the Stockbridge/McDonough area. Our family is truly grateful we found them and look forward to being part of this program for years to come.
A WNov 10, 2025This academy is absolutely amazing. We have been here for 30 days and my kids (ages 11 and 15) love it. They have learned so much in a short amount of time. The instructor, Mr. Troy, is great and teaches the kids not just Tae Kwon Do but life lessons. Mrs. Bates has excellent customer service. I am so thankful my kids are part of this program and I highly recommend them.

What a big difference in the quality of teaching. He is passionate about the kids learning and being able to use their skills. And they don’t limit the amount of days you can come to class. We highly recommend this school.

Nga NgoApr 3, 2024Both my kids started about 3 years ago. At first my daughter was hesitant and even against it. Now I can’t miss a day!! My kids love going and I love watching them progress. Master Troy is patient and pushes his students to try harder. My children have become more confident and disciplined in all that they do. This has become like their home away from home. The entire staff is friendly and professional. COVID 19 protocols are in place to keep everyone safe. Temperature checks at the door and hand sanitizer for everyone is available. Masks are required for all that enter the studio.
